"You wouldn't expect to find such great food in a touristy street a block off of the Puerta de Sol but it is excellent. I live in Madrid and it's one of our favorite places when we are in the mood for mussels. Ordered them...steam and you can choose the degree of spiciness. 5 is medium level suitable for most people. Their Tigres (fried mussels with Bechamel) are also good as are all of their tapas, but for me their steamed mussels are the best. They have a large turnover and are always fresh. It's particularly good for tourists who get hungry before Spanish meal time in the evening as it doesn't close in the afternoon."

they love this place came here twice, while in madrid ate spicy muddles, chiopitos and fried mushes and all well served and tasty the service is a bit slow, but have a sangria while they wait it's not sorry. only one note if. they sit on a table there is a supplement calculated

This is one of the best seafood restaurant I had in Madrid, I ordered Seafood Paella, Boiled Mussels (extra spicy), Fried Calamari and Fried Padrón Peppers. All the dishes came out better than expected that I even wanted to order grilled prawns except that my...tummy couldn't fit anymore! How I wish I found this little hidden jewel much earlier! Will surely return when I am in Madrid next time for more food!
