"War im Dezember 2x Mittagessen im Falknis zu Maienfeld. Schönes Ambiente in einer etwas älteren Gaststube mit Charme, wohltuend im Vergleich mit vielen "kalten" Einrichtungen anderer Gaststätten. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und fleissig, also wirklich top. Das Essen hat geschmeckt, einzig das Kalbs-Cordon-Bleu liess etwas zu wünschen übrig. Aber das soll den Gesamteindruck nicht schmälern, geht hin und probiert das Essen, ihr werdet in der Regel nicht enttäuscht sein."

"The young second generation owner and his aide are very professional and hands on in this cozy restaurant in the heart of Bad Ragaz, a fourty minute drive from Zurich. The food is very well prepared and tasty and reasonably priced (for Switzerland). We had a nice Cordon Bleu with vegetables (upon our request) and Steak Tartare which was freshly prepared by our server at the table and seriously was one of the best tasting I’ve ever had, quaintly served heart shaped. If you’re ever in Bad Ragaz make sure to reserve a table here. The spacious underground city parking is nearby and convenient."

"An ideal place to indulge in culinary delights in the middle of the Graubünden vineyards. From the warm welcome to the detailed presentation of the concept to the uninterrupted attention and hospitality everything is just right here. The quality of the food is first class. The wine selection also leaves nothing to be desired, and if you can't decide, there are various tasting options available. A big thank you to Annemarie, who made sure that we felt completely comfortable and were able to enjoy the evening to the fullest."

"My friends and me had dinner here. It was one of the only places that was open and we choose it because we were able to bring our dogs here. It is a really big restaurant and I was surprised that only 3-4 people were...seeing all of those tables. I liked the salad bar with a big selection of different salads and toppings. I had the ravioli filled with spinach and cottage cheese. Really tasty. The other dishes like the macaroni and the spaghetti arrabiata were not that special and a little overpriced a some pasta dish. We had a white housewine which was okay but not great. The service at this place was a rollercoaster. They first brought the wrong dish to our table and I told the waitress. She took it back and replaced it for the one we ordered but not without rolling her eyes about it. My two friends ordered dessert. One was a Iglu which was explained in the menu as ice filled with caramel and caramel coating. It was coated with chocolate and my friend has a chocolate allergy she asked it she could replace it because it did not say anything about chocolate on the menu. She got the a no as an answer with the explanation that the Iglu is per definition a chocolate coating. We were really surprised that this was something everyone from everywhere had to know. In the end she still got it replaced by someone else. As conclusion. Some dishes are very good on the menu and def homemade but you Have to make the right pick but the service and the price value are not the greatest."

Vom Empfang über das Zimmer, von der Bedienung über die Menus und die Erfüllung von Sonderwünschen alles vom Feinsten. Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit werden hier gelebt.
