"We went to Herrenberg for a concert at the Stiftskirche. before then, we wanted to eat dinner, but kept running into restaurants that were closed or had downgraded themselves to nearly fast food. Osteria came recommended by a colleague, and is well worth a visit. Just off the Marktplatz, it has a few tables outside, where we sat. The chairs were roomy and comfortable. We were there about 17.45 on a Wednesday and had our choice of tables. Hubby drank a beer and I had a lovely glass of dry wine from Umbria. Bruschetta were very nice, with the bread being fresh, perfectly toasted and plenty of garlic with the tomatoes. Hubby's salad was fine, but nothing to write home about. Hubby ate fettucine with beef and cognac sauce, felt the sauce needed a stronger cognac flavor. I ate saltimbocca, and it hit the spot. Two nice pieces of veal, topped with a good ham, and an excellent sage-lemon sauce. I ordered pasta as the side, and got the same fettucine DH had, which BTW was freshly made. Very tender. Good prompt service after a slightly long initial wait. Got the bill promptly and paid, then we trekked up the hill to the concert. I'll go again."

"The food was indeed just fantastic and as I remember from my student times in the region over 20 years ago...wether it was the Maultasche in Brühe ("mega" ravioli in soup), the fresh pasta with Champignons or the absolutely amazing meat plate with cream sauce...everything was finger licking delicious. Dessert was a little disappointment and not as good as the main courses...and the drinks...well...I expected a little more "power" in them...the rhubarb cocktail was a little too watery and the Hugo a little too sour. Service was very friendly but a little inflexible (or was it the kitchen?) as the request for a dessert sampler could not be fulfilled..."

"I landed by falling on the search for an evening meal in the barista in herrenberg. After all the restaurants proposed by my navigation were already close, we were welcomed in the barista, despite 15min closing the kitchen still fulfills every wish. the pizza was super crispy and very tasty as well as the salad was provided with a pleasant dressing. the service was attentive, but not intrusive. the environment is harmoniously pleasant. they feel very comfortable. the underground radio with an Italian sender painted the Italian flair on funny wise. there was almost a feeling of vacation."

"Hello, we were going to gourmet yesterday evening with our young in the asia, the little one had birthday and wanted us to go to Chinese again. Unfortunately, herrenberg has disappointed us so far in this view, so that we were mostly eating elsewhere, but yesterday the weather situation did not come to a long drive. by coincidence we have discovered this really small restaurant in the internet with some quite positive reviews and so we are going. it is located in the outskirts of the city, it could have a more favorable place, a pity for the restaurant, so it must be made well known over mouthpropaganda.It is really small, two three large tables for eight people and a few twosome. two tables were occupied.In the rear area then the visible kitchen with a small asiate, which then came also the same and welcomed us very friendly and brought the card. He also told us that he was alone today and that it could take a while because everything is freshly cooked. we then have soaked and ordered for everyone an appetizer and a main course, and quite honestly, so terrible long it didn't last at all...and everything was very tasty, the peking soup hot, the erdnus sauce on the spits megalecker and also the wantans hmmm...we then had twice escape, once chicken and once bark, each eating was cleanly dressed, hot and delicious. also otherwise the restaurant was very clean, which is very important to me, I always look around.Also if you go past it, give the restaurant that is not so beautiful from the outside a chance and try it. the asiate is, by the way, from vietnam and there is an extra card with Vietnamese, which we also have to try.Opening times are continuous from 11.30 to evening 22 clocks and there are the dishes also to take with.Oh and I now almost forget to mention the prices are really cheap and the portions for it are abundant."

"sought for my man and me a local closeness that offers good meat dishes (for the man) and a selection of sweet or even something unusual (for me). at the opening hours at 17:30 on Sunday to book. the table for two was only available from 19 o'clock. in it we were swung by the many guests. a large room with a few clever built-in semi-high partitions, an aquarium, clean new pieces of furniture, beautiful bottles in the regal, a timeline stand, a theke made a nice cozy impression. it looked newly renovated, each table had two ceilings, the upper bright white was changed after each gast. the waitress was super friendly and fast despite the many visitors. the menu offered many, but not too many dishes. I have curiously tried an salat (here a smeared) from smoked auberginen - delicious (just a little too fat!) we ordered a village dish (pute, lammkotelett and gyros) with pommes and salat (with correct and non-split olives) and lambspoke with salat and green beans. the spits were fantastic! no unpleasant smell from the hammel, super soft, delicious! overall a quite large portion with the salat in front. the rest we packed. we got another ouzo from the house. I then had to go to the toilet and my respect to the operators has grown in even more to the height. that smells on the country’s usual toilet, there is only cold water and often no soap and something to dry the hands. there was even a mülleimer with a sensor that automatically opened as soon as you held the hand over it! it smelled very pleasant in the toilet and was nice clean. Conclusion: we want to go more often! and hope that the standards of the owners will not be screwed down. thank you!"
