"Dropped in today to treat the kids for being so good at the Remembrance Service and wow did they get a treat. The children 's sandwich was presented well for kids (won 't spoil it if you go with kids), the portions were spot on for smaller kids as well. Sensible drinks at a sensible price with no bags of sweats or other extras that the kids eat and then never want the meal! My Spanish breakfast was excellent, the eggs were so tasty( just like the ones from our hens at home) and the whole meal was tasty, enjoyable and well presented. The staff were working hard and really attentive and friendly and even didn 't mind this Dad spilling a whole kids drink, helpfully cleared it up and brought me another! Usually I avoid this sort of trip and head to a safe place but the McD 's and similar were not in town and this was so so so much better!Stop by if you are passing and have some enjoyable fare, oh and it 's licensed so you can even have a more enjoyable tipple!"

Gaskyns is one of my favourite options for breakfast. It is never full of tourists and has great coffee and food. It 's not an Olde tea room for which Arundel has a few options but is in my opinion much better.

The young man on duty yesterday was so friendly helpful and to top it off allowed us to bring the dogs. The restaurant sells eco friendly products and serves a great choice of food drinks but if you div-ate from the menu that's no problem either.

Try parking outside as we did by accident when looking for a place to have brunch. We certainly overstayed the one hour time limit and we enjoyed an excellent selection of dishes, served in a friendly and timely manner. Very relaxed and welcoming café highly recommended.

Super friendly staff always a warm welcome. Very family friendly and a lovely selection of coffee and teas. However, it is for the breakfast that you should go and you won't be disappointed. Good quality ingredients, all cooked fresh, simply lovely. For vegetarians there is a wide selection alsoHeartily recommended

Just over the bridge, and therefore away from the main tourist beat, this place has to be just that bit better, and it is. Spotlessly clean with chirpy staff, picture gallery and small terrace, it ensured that we will revisit next time that we are in Arundel. There is one outside table on the pavement at the front, and it was this that attracted us initially to the place..

My flat in Queen Street is opposite Gaskyns and, although I am not normally a people watcher (I'm a writer, supposed to be writing! , I love to watch the comings and goings at Gaskyns.Charly runs a great place, assisted by a friendly and helpful team. We especially enjoyed eating in the little garden outside eating very good food indeed! I'll just pop to the window now and see what's going on...

Wot no chicken!Opted for their all-day breakfast that £8.95 was, I thought, a tad too expensive but possibly reflects the catchment area and the tourist hotspot though on the day of my visit not exactly mobbed. Now the breakfast, for me, was a bit odd, or at least part of it was.Having had an Irish Mother I was brought up on black and white pudding that each have distinct flavours and textures. The one solitary sample I was given tasted strangely synthetic.Might, I wondered have the soldiers at nearby Arundel Castle always marched in single file as there was a single rasher of bacon and a single sausage each with its own locally-sourced taste. For the price, I think they could have been two abr...
