Gasthof Oberwirt - Menu

We came back here recently as we stayed here 20 years ago. Just stopped for lunch in the pleasant garden. We chose a simple lunch which was good and all other customers seemed to be getting good food

There's a great charm to this place, it always seems to be popular with the locals and they are often in traditional dress, which adds to that charm. The food is good and wholesome and reasonably priced, the beer is excellent.

the hospitality I received during my stay was very friendly, the staff was very friendly and there were no problems during my stay. the food there was excellent, especially their carvings. if you are looking for a place in the ramsau, I would recommend the gasthof oberwirt.

We have stayed here 10 years ago, and chose to eat here as it wasWhit Monday and serving hot food until late, the main room was full so we found ourselves in an overspill room,very rustic. Service was excellent and friendly, again you do need...to know a little about German meals before ordering, we both had a meat dish with the famous dumpling,very reasonable in price, car park just across the small road opposite

we walked the salt-alpensteig salt path) and stayed every evening in another hotel/guesthouse. the gasthof oberwirt has a charming, old-fashioned feeling for it. we loved our simple room with a balcony overlooking the mountains and enjoyed a delicious dinner in the beer...Garden we did not come to suzie, but met their daughter, who was very friendly and helpful and managed to arrange our guest tickets on our departure day. ramsau is a charming village and is well placed for hiking and remembrance of the opposite. we were in ramsau just before 18 o'clock and decided to eat in the oberwirt as it wasn't too far from where we were. the restaurant has a beautiful traditional decor. we ordered a lot of dressed like gulasch and...rinderbreads that were tasty; but we could not try dessert, as they were obviously closed earlier in the evening when we expected. the service was okay even though it was a bit abrupt. four dinners came to about 57 euro, which seemed appropriate enough. on the road to the left (west side) of the upper farm there is approx. a dozen parking spaces for hotel and restaurant guests, which is very practical.

Most people who go to Berchtesgaden...don 't notice Ramsau (20 min drive to the south). It 's a hidden village for the most part....a couple of hotels spread among a village and the hof there in the middle. It rests on the north side of the Ramsauer...Ache (stream). Parking is a minor issue (about 60 meters prior to the Hof, on the left, heading west, there 's a small parking lot). It 's a small hotel and restaurant. The food? Absolutely authentic and five-star at least by Bavarian standards. They have an excellent garden sitting area if you go in the spring or summer. Unfortunately, there is not so much to report here – or perhaps. A warm and sunny day in October allowed us to eat outside. The terrace of the Oberwirt was still open. The service was nice, but rather seemed to be happy for a quiet afternoon, because something was involuntary to feel as the guests asked for a certain table on the terrace that was not yet covered. At the end, no matter because the tables, probably only 3-5 at the beginning, were far enough for the guests who met us during our stay.
