"This is where the locals eat and in Baveria, that means everything. You can't beat the value or quality of this family run restaurant. Most meals are in the to euro mark and sumptuous. My photo is of a simple tuna salad but...both the salad and chuncks of tuna were excellent, executed with mini bread sticks for added panache. Friendly staff, with at least one person seaking English, and good house wine. The menu covers salads, steaks, poultry, fish and pizza. As an added bonus, you can walk off the calories with a nature walk in the adjoining park. The water exercise, for feet, ankles and lower leg circulation in water, is a must"

Very nice restaurant with friendly service and big portions. Items on the menu are clearly labeled vegetarian and some like the pizzas can be veganized. One dish (the asian noodles is vegan). I had the pizza Verdura and it was very good. I was impressed by the number of veggies it was definitely a filling meal

i totaly agree with previous rewievs, it WAS the best local place to eat for me for last years. But now, everything changed, instead of garden there is now big hall, still in works, looks like a community hall or cinema. Menu is not...anymore the same, stuff is not the same, for me it looks like Mcdonalds with waiters. Prices ar higher and i left the place sad

I was very surprised that she offered Asian and Italian cuisine in a hothouse, but the curry was really delicious. the curry was vegan marked, but the noodles where only vegetarian marked. there were no other vegan options, but I was happy to even find a vegan meal in a German house. the flaky cake and pizza are served only on Friday Sunday from 17 o'clock. updated by previous review on 2022-04-18

We found this place by chance and we were so thankful. Trying to stay away from pig products and fries was difficult to even find something good and not expensive. So was a surprise as we found “wild” meat at this place in this quality...and at this price. They have a full variety of food but we went for the “good one” and had a traditional meal with wild meat. Our daughter years old said she would give her weekly money for tips that says a lot! The prices are on the accessible side

"Unfortunately, today's day did not go as planned, because we wanted to spend lunch in the mountain restaurant with the chairlift to the Hoch Schwarzeck. Due to the bad weather, the lift was unfortunately out of operation, and so we spontaneously take a look at the nearby Zipfhäusl, where we stayed a few days before with bright sunshine and magnificent views with coffee and cake. Both tar (Black Forests Cherry and Cheese Cream) were far below expectations and consisted more of cream than anything else. You could almost describe it like this: very viscous basement floor with a once tasty cheese cream aroma and once chocolate cherry aroma. All right, but the menu had promised us, so we decided to eat in the zipfhäusl. This time not on the terrace, but in the restaurant we get a place on the window. The drinks came soon, but I was surprised to get wheat beer glass and bottle on the table for self-filling while I could not see it at another of the well-stocked tables. My questions about eating were either not properly understood or the answer was simply not known. So I was told that pig with mushroom cream sauce are OHNE mushrooms. I asked if there was something with mushrooms and was referred to the pig halves with pifferling / mushroom sauce, but they were without mushrooms. So I didn't ask for mushrooms? And I have an answer I don't know. Full confusion. Anyway, I ordered the ends of the pigs with o.g sauces. And as the roasted potatoes became aware of me by the longer standing (and exactly so) previous reviews at RK, I ordered the planned late lumps in roasted potatoes. And incredibly true, they were as well as described by other critics sterile unacidified roasted potatoes in 2012, but at least three to four small glazed onion rings were added. Padded with a bissel salt and pepper, but due to their crosses they were very pleasant as well as the non-fresh but well prepared pieces. My wife chose the Tagliatelle with whipped cream. And what a surprise, in both dishes was not only sauce, but real mushrooms. Champignons and paws from the can, but we were prepared for some reason. The side salads surprised from the freshness factor, because almost everything was fresh, even the carrot salad! I would continue from roast potatoes (something positive perhaps the over years of constancy of the product, because then it is easy to appreciate) as well as absolutely discouraged from the above mentioned cakes. Conclusion: All in all well prepared, but without special claim. Nothing for connoisseurs, but for hunger, which can also enjoy a fresh additional salad."
