"We have been for meals here several times and we absolutely love it. We can be assured of an excellent meal in a friendly environment where we can also bring our dogs with us. We have never had a bad meal here and have always been treated by professional, friendly and helpful staff. We have already recommended it to friends and family and will continue to do so. This visit was for a birthday celebration and the staff were so happy and welcoming, it was a wonderful evening with beautiful food, nice drinks and a great atmosphere shared with friends. Just perfect, as usual!"

We had a lovely warm welcome from Maria and her team. The settings were beautiful too. We were taken to a lovely table and all the candles were lit which made it look amazing! The service from our waitress was perfect and the food was served promptly and was delicious.

Amazing food! Great service and friendly staff. When it was so busy (we have the last table) food came very fast. Obviously a popular place for a good pub lunch. Nice too! The second time I had eaten here was for Sunday lunch, it was quite quiet and the food was delicious! Perfect service and low price.

Not a bad pub. Staff very friendly helpful. Good choice of food drinks. Food is typical pub fayre, ok but not amazing. Freshly made pizzas were particularly good. Large garden with ample seating. Big car park easy access. I thought some kids play equipment was lacking that they are missing out on that trade. Overall I thought good value would recommend

The Beer selection is superb but can't say the same about the food. 2 years since my last visit and vowed never to return. Tried 2 other local pubs first for food only to be turned away because they were full. Should have realized, this pub was very quiet, was hoping the food had changed but unfortunately not. See you in a few more years guys just hoping for better next time.

Lovely pub and nicely furnished. On arrival there was works going on over the road causing a very unpleasant smell so unfortunately we couldn’t have a drink outside in the sun. The food was nice but maybe not presented the best and the green veg side dish was very disappointing with only 3 pieces of broccoli laid on top of some cabbage scrapings. But overall it was a nice meal and we would try again.

After a walk on the canal you called the chance. Was busy, but it managed to get a table for two. Eating looked so good when it arrived, we got stuck and forgot to take photos. Fish cake with chopped egg and good old fish and chips. Both were really nice and came in time. The staff were very pleasant, welcoming and chatting, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Very recommended and we will try again some of the other dishes on offer.

Absolutely amazing, welcome in and sitting, table service was incredible, polite and friendly. The food was plentiful, tasteful and really a pleasure. A warm and relaxing atmosphere with good dining music. Can't thank our server enough to be absolutely beautiful and make the whole experience more than we could hope and the special little touch made us smile. The only disappointment was that the meal ended would have been quite happy to eat more even though we were thoroughly filled!
