"Went as a party of 4 for dinner on our first night of a weekend in Bath after the restaurant being recommended by friends who have dined there before saying it was the best food they had tasted outside of Thailand. So, was expecting great things and boy did it deliver. The sharing platters as starters were amazing, So much flavour and the presentation was top notch. The mains were out of this world. I had Pad Kee Mao it was so good I bought the cookbook to replicate at home. Everyone in our party couldn't say enough good things about the food. The guy serving us was brilliant, great personality, fantastic sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble. Also had a beautiful Buddhist watch you know who you are). If you get the chance go, it's awesome. Just make sure to book in advance."

The restaurant offers a variety of delicious vegan dishes and has outdoor seating. The location is fantastic and the service is excellent. The platter of vegetable starters was especially enjoyable.

Had a really good experience. Although it was full, we got our order in less time. Lamb shank Massaman was really tasty. The noodles were good too. And the red curry was the best. Will definitely go again.

The restaurant was bustling and the staff were welcoming. The wings were full of flavour and succulent. The one bite salmon was a little too complex for my undeveloped taste. The crispy slow cooked beef was a revelation. My daughter’s(3) peanut sauce chicken skewer was “sooo good, delicious and scrumptious “ My table neighbour said they also felt the food was good.

We had a wonderful experience at Giggling Squid. After walking past this place many times and never trying it we booked for a quiet and small leaving meal for a work colleague. Situated in a very picturesque historic square in Bath, directly opposite the Theatre Royal it is perfectly located. Having booked a table inside it was a beautiful sunny evening so we asked if we could sit outside and were happily accommodated. Drinking Thai beer, eating delicious and authentic Thai food we were all delighted with our choices and would all return. Well done Giggling Squid! View menu

It was our fist visit so we were excited to try out the food. Very pretty setting. The starter was lovely and we really enjoyed it, the main however (Penang curry) tasted a bit powdery and not at all authentic..whilst I appreciate the restaurant is a chain, it was very disappointing. The waitress had no idea if or what Thai beer you do, consequent only 1 Chang. The cost was £75 for a sharing starter, a curry each, one beer and a small sparkling water which I think is excessive. Sadly we won’t return. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Dietary restrictions: N/a

I visited this restaurant for the first time this week while celebrating my wife's birthday. The main dining area was not very busy, but there was a large party of 50 people downstairs. Despite this, the experience was amazing. We were greeted by a friendly man at the door who I assume was the manager, and all of the staff we encountered were exceptional - from taking our orders to clearing the table and serving our food and drinks. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience, and the food was fantastic. We are thrilled to hear that a new location will be opening in Cardiff soon so that we can dine here more often.

I dined at this restaurant alone and tried three dishes, two appetizers and a salad. The menu had many wonderful options with enticing descriptions and flavors. I ordered the grilled squid with crispy Thai garlic and chilies as well as the Samui Zingy Prawns. Both dishes were delicious. The squid was cooked perfectly and the prawns had just the right amount of heat. I finished with the bamboo golden berry salad, which was fresh, crisp, citrusy, and delightful. The restaurant's architecture was impressive, with a fairyland design and beautiful ceramic plates. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience and highly recommend this restaurant. View menu

amazing eating, I love the giggling squid chain, and another experience in the lunchtime to dinner and I recommend both to do. the main restaurant area is large and open with quirky decor that makes it a little loud on a very busy service, but it supplements the atmosphere. I had to start the huhn satay with a share plate of dizziness. for the main I had panang curry for pornstars with sticky rice sharing plates including chicken pillow thai, carbon noodles and sticky huhn that was amazing. Do not take my word for it, take you to a chain and you will be ditto what I have said. PS friends had the tinted fish dishes and they said that the broken salted tinted fish was amazing to start.

we were looking for Google maps for vegan friendly restaurants in bath, which were different from burger etc. we came in here. we got a selection of seating options that have opted for a beautiful window table. the decor is beautiful and light. the staff was very friendly. for the starter, we had the cunning bubbly faggot that was beautiful. the vegan starter was the spicy mushroom larb (serves cold, very spicy very tasty, the aromen were wow). for the net we had the lammage in a beautiful soße kokosreis. the vegan porn was the Thai green curry sticky rice, both excellently packed with so much taste. for dessert we had the melting chocolate pudding with milcheis Irish coffee. a gem of a rest...
