"We came in on a weekday evening without a reservation but they had room for two for dinner outside. It was a nice summer evening. The server was very friendly and came by to check in on us at exactly the right intervals throughout the meal. The menu had traditional German food and the beer was also nice. We had such a nice time, we decided to get dessert as well. By the time we were finished with our meal, the sun had set and we strolled through the downtown to get back to the hotel."

High expectations after experiencing the Ratskeller in Munich. Good food and wine but service was not great. We were left without a server while a large table was taken care of . A simple solution would have been to let us know before being seated. Beautiful setting

My husband and I were looking for gluten-free German food. This place does NOT have their gluten-free items marked on the menu. However, the waitstaff is very knowledgeable. They offered to substitute the bread for our order with potatoes. The food was excellent. Sadly, they didn't have gluten-free beer.

I think my only complaint was the temperature in the area. We were sitting was pretty cold. But overall, we enjoyed our meal. Our server was quite attentive and sweet.
