"we went in escorted by one of there staff only to be escorted out to stand outside for 4 minutes till they opened, ordered pint lager and class of prosecco, then order our meal both of us had steak 0ne rare one medium, I asked if the steaks came with veg my said they did and the waitress said nothing I ordered chips anyway, I ordered a glass of red to have with the meal. after about 15 minutes I asked the waitress where our drinks were and she went away and came back with the glass of red which I said I wanted with the meal, she then went away and came back with my lager, we asked where the prosecco which she then went and got. After asking twice and 45minutes during which time the couple next to us had came in sat down and had there started AND main course. After 45minutes we got our steak and chips no veg, just a tomato and some leaves. Not the treat fo going to a 5 start hotel we were expecting."

This is a gem of a restaurant in the west end, the food and service are both excellent. I would Highly recommend the tasting menu and matching wines.

A true gem of a restaurant. Laura and Marco could not have been more helpful. Felt welcomed from the moment we came in to when we left. Food was outstanding. Can’t wait to return.

Exceptional food. We had the grazing 7 course menu. All dishes we’re superb. We even managed to get the wine pairings free of charge as we booked via the fork. This was a real bonus.

Very nice experience, we had the 7 course menu; the vegetarian menu was even better then the regular! The staff is very helpfull, nice people! Quite expensive, but we certainly recommend this restaurant!

Really nice surprise. Next to my hotel, so I had modest expectations. Nonetheless, the food was really very good, the service nicely done, and overall very good meal. I had two amuse bouche, including an oyster with caviar, and a main dish of fish and chips.

great greeting from the hotel staff efficiently shown on our table, but after it had ordered a champagne, it took 20 minutes to tell us that they had none. that's another one. the ordered matching weine with the tasting of the first weine had to be requested. then the senior took over the dinge better.

all good to three evil youngs were placed on the next table. Why are our transatlantic cousins so fucking rude and loud? we were not the only ones that are disturbed . . fast in another quiet table for which the personal must be praised. however, food excellent if perhaps a little medium on portion size. will we have been going back? probably for lunch before the pubs open . . . .

Food distinctly average and a little overpriced. Service poor with bread coming after starter, and accompanied by awful duck fat butter. Trying to get a complaint dealt with was very difficult despite advising staff (3 times) that we were in a hurry to leave (due to an emergency situation that had developed whilst we were dining I acknowledge that this impacted on our enjoyment of the food).

Food excellent but menu range disappointingly poor. If you didn’t feel like beef, choice down to half roasted chicken or a lemon sole and fish and chips off the menu by 6:45 on Friday night! Was also unable to supply the Malbec chosen by me and the wines were on the pricey side. The service charge of more than 10% was included in the bill which I think is a bit of a sharp practice. There was a stag party on in our dining space which was quite noisy, though not rowdy. My wife and I very much enjoyed the beef wellington, but we won’t be rushing back
