Great Wall Chinese Takeaway

To be fair we do love this place for a takeaway they also deliver and are usually pretty quick. The salt and pepper chip are amazing

Ordered a chow mein last night it was very tasty, i have had the duck in pineapple before and that was nice too. Great food reasonable priced too.

Wasnt overly impressed, ordered house special chop suey, on collection, it had very little meat, no char sui pork, no mushrooms, or bamboo shoots or water chestnut either, quite poor value really . View menu

ordered a delivery to the hotel where we lived, as they don't offer food at the moment. on the time grated, hot piping and the best bun in green pfeffer and black bean I cost in a long time. free bang!

Normally like the food here but not today. The duck didn't taste like duck, it was all congealed and slimy, my husbands meal was stone cold and my daughter's sweet and sour was like water, the rest is in the dog!

I ordered a meal from this farewell miserable. When they saw that I had not collected them, they called me and then offered me a refund that was quickly transferred to my account. I don't believe in her generousness. View menu

Order a takeaway Chinese from here the other night on the just eat app n I must say it was excellent the food we ordered was cooked to perfection and hot and it was delivered exactly on time so well done the great wall.

we have just recently moved into the opposite and had tried another Chinese trip out in the city that will remain nameless, as it must be the worst Chinese food I ever had, and this led us to try the big wall. Well, what, I can say. the eating was amazing from the sesam prawn toast (which I can add were the best I have ever tasted), crispy won tonne for appetitmakers. main dishes consisted of bark meat with green paprika and black bean sauce and a house special chow my with 2 portions fried rice. these dishes were up there with some of the best dishes we ever tasted from a takeaway. we cannot expect to use this retreat on Friday.

I ordered 4 meals for me and family when we picked it up and brought it home we realised 1 was missing so we phoned and asked for it to be delivered when the delivery i ally came after an half hour wait we got...the food, 5 mins after the delivery driver knocked again with a woman on the phone (owner) telling me I hadn’t paid when I 1000% did as I went down personally and paid myself she argued with me on the phone for 15 minutes then finally told me if I didn’t repay I wasn’t having my dish, i refused as I already paid and they made me give my meal back!! Absolutely disgusting way to treat a customer we will never be returning there again!! View menu
