"Stopping off in Bourton for a bit of sightseeing, one doesn't expect to find anything to have with your cup of tea. As we passed this place, the little blackboard by the door screamed Egg Dairy Free scones' and Homemade Vegan Cakes'. Of course we had to stop They only had scones that were vegan, a fruit scone served with vitalite and strawberry jam. The scone had the texture of a gluten free bake as well, but was OK. The guy popped out to check all was good and explained that they were also gluten and soy free too! Excellent situation right by the river, but they rush you out of your seat a bit by clearing stuff off the table as soon as each item is clear. Certainly worth stopping to get vegan scones though!"

I tried the beetroot falafel but I wasn't impressed. A small wheat pita with 3 really small falafels costed 6.99 pounds... View menu

Many vegan cakes AND lunch main meals! Super friendly staff, and owner who is vegan himself. Delicious vegan lemon drizzle cake and soy coffee, in a quaint half antique store and half cafe. Fantastic spot.

The owner, Matt, is super friendly and hospitable. His daughter is a vegan chef in Dubai and gives him lots of great recipes. So, the vegan options are very good indeed, both food and cakes. Highly recommend. View menu

In a place where I couldn't even find tofu at the little grocery store in town I was delighted to find vegan scones and carrot cake at the Green and Pleasant Tea Room. The vegan scone was delicious and they even had iced lattes with soy milk.

Stopped in because I saw the vegan options board outside. So good to see something more than a salad. Got the vegan a one which was decent . Comes with dairy free butter and jam. My friend got the vegan penang curry which I was told quite tasty. The prices are decent. Strange concept of a antique shop and a cafe mixed together. But may be a cotswold.

"We had one of the most delicious dining experiences we have ever enjoyed. The chef, Charles Smith, is truly a cuisine genius. Everyone of the courses in the tasting menu was a trbute to his creativity and subtle mixture of ingredients. We could not believe his sophistication at the age of 29 and we wish him a wonderful future career. Separately I’d like to address the initial welcome and bar experience which was not pleasant. When you enter the front door there is no apparent reception area; there is no one to greet or guide you. No one asked for our name or what kind of dinner reservation we had made. We stumbled around a few narrow hallways guided by sounds of conversation until we found the bar. The solo bartender was harried and overwhelmed and bar seating area completely filled. We were told to walk down the hall to another lounge where we enjoyed our cocktails. This was shared with another couple who were dressed in sloppy jeans and tshirts while we were attired in jackets for the men and dresses for the ladies. This initial lack of welcome and hospitality typified both times we have eaten at LOM in 2017 and 2019. We would recommend that the 2 different dining experiences be separated physically from the beginning of the evening starting with the greeting, bar drinks, and continuing through dinner. The disconnect in hospitality and service should be easily addressed and improved."
