"Everything here is so so good. Matthew welcomed us in with a great smile and although small, the place is quirky and comfortable. Food is imaginative, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The usually humble bacon sandwich is elevated here to a thing of culinary joy Bacon done to your liking, sourdough bread and a home made sauce which knocks the old HP into a cocked hat. My Brunch mates enjoyed their eggs and one went for the Sardine option. These were served artfully still in the tin with excellent sourdough toast and more of the tasty sauce. Our food was accompanied by excellent Rwandan grown coffee. Very good value for money. We will return."

Been many times. Perfect place to pop in for a coffee and spot of brunch. Lots of healthy options at a generous price. Staff never fail to maintain their polite and friendly manner.

Fantastic lunch , best bacon sandwich I’ve ever had. Lemon cake was so light and delicious. We were greeted on arrival. Fabulous customer service will definitely be going back again soon.

My new favourite place. Vegan club is the most amazing sandwich I’ve ever had. Great coffee too.... Everything is sourced locally, so not only super fresh ingredients, but these guys are supporting other local businesses too. Could eat here everyday.

We ordered 2 vegan sandwiches and 1 Vietnamese pho. My friend is vegan and she as happy with the sandwich, for me it was too many different flavours on triple sourdough and didn’t enjoy it much. Pho wasn’t very pho broken noodles, no lemon or fresh herbs. It was more like Tom yum soup and also sweet potatoes are unusual choice for Vietnamese Pho. My spiced pumpkin latte was amazing! Staff very friendly and lucky to have them :

My partner and I have been here now on more than three occasions and each time the cakes, scones and beverages have been perfect. The staff are always friendly and I understand the cakes and other items are baked fresh on the premises. My last experience was a lime and coconut polenta cake (gluten-free but this was not why I ordered it/the flavours were which was absolutely delicious together with a cheese scone also delicious. By far the best CAFE in the area and possibly the city.

Called in here today for lunch. I ordered the grain bowl and my friend had the Pho. Both were generous portions and very tasty. The music was really loud, I could hardly hear my friend, and noticed other people having to raise their voices, so when we ordered coffees, I asked the waitress if the music could be turned down, she said she would, but I didn't notice any difference. We would have stayed for another coffee but found the music just too loud. Apart from that, lovely cafe and food was good quality.
