"I would like to say at the reading of these comments about the handlein that they are completely wrong. I have been drinking here for many years and have not even felt that the pub is homophobic or is. I have many gay friends and we had many good nights here with the past and present. I was here at night and saw how the person who was attacked was cheated. the person was very drunk and locked in the people, only because this person was gay had no effect on the result. If it were a straight male or a little bit, the exit would have been the same. also what is the most disgusting is that the person on the people is so right to me when I am wrong, no matter their sexuality, which is absolutely disgusting. the pub as he stands at the moment has a very good administration, staff and I would recommend that the contributions obviously not put by the friends of this person they come into this pub that does everything to u feel welcome."

First visit for Mother's Day. Very nice tasty Sunday carvery. We could even take the family dog. Lovely service. Think I missed out on the Mother's Day favour as we moved outside but that was a nice touch. Lovely pub. Friendly staff. Recommend.

First visit ,very impressed, traditional English pub.Staff very helpful and polite. Good choice of wines and beers. Didn't eat there but menu offers.good range of meals at very reasonable prices.The food that we saw looked good.Comfortable ,clean will definitely go back.

Called in for a drink with my Wife last week and booked a table this Sunday for the carvery. Verdict- splendid! EIGHT different vegetables to choose from as well as a scaled down week menu to choose from. Very well done to Charlene and all the Team, with Love, Margaret and Andy. X.

What a brilliant find on the way back from the nature reserve just up the road. Excellent home cooked carvery with real Yorkshire puddings not the normal frozen affair, freshly made nut roast, lovely family pub. Dogs welcome. Did not see a play area. Huge car park where the land lady says she is happy for overnight parking of motorhome or caravan. Will definitely be back.

recently this beautiful little place while away with my family. very recommended at the arrival, I was greeted by a beautiful young lad. I think his name was russels? I and my people really enjoyed eating was delicious. really enjoyed the fact that there was a pool table so after our meal we enjoyed some naughty games by pool with a beautiful cold pint. this place is a small jewel and we will definitely come back:

Visited randomly on the way home from a day out and was really pleasantly surprised. The place is nice inside and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. We had table service for both food and drink, both came out in good time after ordering. We ordered Gammon, egg and chip plus the starter of Chicken strips to come out at the same time. Pretty standard pub food done right. No complaints at all. There is plenty of parking here and outside seating. We'll definitely have no worries about stopping here again.
