"Came to the casino with a group of friends and firstly went to the bar to ask for food, and we were told the restaurant was closed so they only had crisps ‘get them from the end of the bar’ , later we were told by the women on the blackjack table we could order toasties. We then asked for them and jules who took the order was very abrupt and rude. After we got the toasties she didnt bring the sauces to me, everything seemed a problem. Then we got the wrong drinks sent to us, took them back to the bar and we mentioned to jules that she told us they had no food and she poured the wrong drinks, she then told us we were the worst customers she’s had, and told her colleagues we were ‘a holes’ which we heard..will not return."

The service at this restaurant was excellent. Our waiter, Jake, was professional and welcoming. We all left full and satisfied, and had a great evening. This place is definitely a winner!

This is a great spot to enjoy a drink and some conversation. They have roulette tables available, but we prefer the roulette machines. They offer complimentary coffee and soft drinks. Membership is required for entry.

A well run establishment apart from the sound level of the piped music which is way over the top. Menu which changes occasionally is reasonable and not too expensive. Good set of tables offering the usual ways of parting you from your money

Me and my boyfriend come fairly regularly, and cannot fault the food in any way. We also like to play some table games while we’re visiting and the staff are always so helpful and knowledgable, and are more than happy to explain the rules if I’m a little unsure of a game. View menu

Had a fab night out here as 2 couples. The bar was great, all good drinks. Helpful croupier on the roulette, very patient for those with questions etc. Used the restaurant and was met by Christine who was lovely and due to an allergy request the chef Stan couldn’t be more helpful and produced some fantastic food. Will be back again and looking forward to it.

Menu is much improved but strangely there was not a list of Starters. Braised beef much recommended, The evening was great until the so called caberet started up. The noise was deafening, precluding all conversation. This place really needs to understand that it is possible to entertain people without damaging their ear drums. Good fun on the roulette table and a small win for once to cap what was (except fot the noise) a great night out. View menu

Hello, I went to the casino a few days ago and unfortunately got sick. The paramedics were called and I would like to thank the staff for their amazing help. They were very attentive, caring, and helped me feel at ease during the ordeal. Special shout out to Deputy Manager Steve and one of the security team members who stayed with me the whole time. I especially want to thank Jo who never left my side - her professionalism and reassuring manner were impeccable. Thank you!

I Visiting the casino last night with a friend after work. At about 11 I tried to order food to be told the kitchen was closed until 1am because they were doing a buffet for Chinese New Year. That was absolutely fair enough and I had no issue with that. At 1.10am I returned back to the bar to order some food to be told by the same girl that they were not serving but she would go check and come to the table to let me know. After a further 15 mins the team member never came over so we left and went elsewhere for food. The gent that was hosting the night did walk around at midnight telling everyone to help themselves at the buffet which was lovely but unfortunately I don’t like Chinese food. Ov...

"Visited this weekend for a family celebration and had an unremarkable experience. Decor of establishment was rather nice. Admittedly, we were a large booking of 17 individuals and this can be challenging to manage and organise for such a small establishment. The mature gentleman was rather rude to our host whom asked for an additional chair for the party as we were one short despite finalising numbers as agreed earlier in the afternoon. This is no way an appropriate manner to treat guests and clearly set a bad example for his staff as well as the wrong tone for the evening ahead. Guests were not even properly seated before being hounded for their drinks order despite not being given a drinks menu. Upon asking about cocktails to the waitress whom was pleasant she was unable to give the full selection just the three she knew of the top of her head that were the standard run of the mill selection. To give full credit to her fo honest regarding the diaquiries before we ordered them in. The cocktails (passion fruit martini and cosmopolitan's) ordered were disappointing as they tasted watered down and lacked a bang. Don't understand why one of the passion fruit martinis was brought out in a drinks glass which was rather random. Drinks orders were taken on an ad hoc basis with the waiting staff not taking a full tables order walking away as people attempted to give their drinks order, unintentional maybe? We were rushed to give our starters/mains orders all of which came promptly and all guests received the correct order. The waiting staff shouted out food orders from the top of the table to identify who's order was who's. The pasta based dishes were pleasantly enjoyed yet the pizzas and parmesans proved to be somewhat vanilla. Not all guests had properly finished eating their meals before the gentlemen asked if he could remove plates before receiving an answer from the full table resulting in some guests to not finish their meals. We were not offered a deserts menu once they removed dishes from the table. We had second hand embarrassment for an additional family party whom were having a celebration meal at the restaurant. The party had started to get settled at the table putting out their balloons etc when the mature gent stormed over barking at them to move as he shoved table and chairs across the restaurant. This clearly made them feel uncomfortable as was noticed and commented by the service users of the restaurant. The waiting staff plonked the celebration cakes on the table one of which didn't even go to the correct individual. NO SPECIAL MEMORY OR MAGICAL MOMENT TO BE HAD FOR A 18TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. It would have been nice if they had asked before bringing it out as some of our party partially missed out on the occasion. The bill was given to the wrong individual instead of the host which allowed for everyone to see the bill when this was an private affair. To be perfectly honest we visited a few months earlier and had a disappointing experience but with better service. Linthorpe Road is bursting with alternative, superior, independent eateries that I would highly recommend instead."
