beautiful atmosphere and really warm greetings, attentive service serves really exquisite taste food, highly recommended. huge variety of foods and were happy to change a particular dish that I wanted and replaced ingredients. What else could you ask?

We visited the Gurkha Inn on a Sunday afternoon for father's Day. Wow!!!! Great food, lovely decor and friendly, attentive staff. I left his restaurant feeling very happy indeed. Went there with my husband and daughter for a belated birthday meal. Very kind courteous and attentive staff, food was really good, there was a large party there and lot's of babies and toddler's, which the manager spoke to us about before booking, it was nice to see a happy family atmosphere. I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! First and foremost, it's probably the best-looking Indian/Nepalese restaurant I've ever visited, with impressive fountains and eye-catching fish tanks. The poppadoms were fantastic—thick and delicious—and every dish we tried was wonderful. I'm definitely planning to return. The £24.99 deal is fantastic too; it includes a pint and three courses at an incredible value for the quality of food served. Everything was truly excellent!

great eating, personal attention and courtesy. we had a frustration that was that we tried to pay at the cash when we were in a hurry, but the personal insisted that we pay back to our table, and then took about 5 minutes to get the bill to us. we could not understand this and it made us feel frustrated rather than looking forward to our evening. I appreciate that most people don't have this problem, and that won't stop me again, but it was an unnecessary inconvenience I wanted to praise.

Fundamentally, the Timur curry with lamb I tried was a very unusual flavour. It's was very nice actually. Slightly naturally sweet like a korma but brown and no added sugar like many Kormas are faked. But. A curry. That has large pieces of lamb that are over cooked or under cooked however you want to take it. Was plain wrong. The meat was hard. I could never serve a curry with hard meat. I would cook it slowly for a long time or hard until meat was tender. Very very poor. The mushroom rice was nice. The Ghurka beer a must try. Very smooth. Staff were polite.
