First time here and it won't be the last. Both service and food were very good in a comfortable warm environment.

We had a wonderful dining experience with delicious food. We all loved the dishes we ordered. I couldn't resist the fish and chips because the chips were incredibly crispy and tasted just like homemade ones my mother used to make! I also couldn't resist the rhubarb, orange, and ginger pudding with vanilla custard for dessert. It was absolutely delicious. The only downside was that there wasn't quite enough custard - if they had given double or even triple the amount, it would have been the perfect dessert. The staff were also very friendly and attentive.

My first time at Haighton Manor was a fantastic experience and I will definitely be returning in the future. I met up with a friend for a midweek lunch and booked a table in advance. There was plenty of parking available and the setting was delightful. Upon entering, we were greeted by a roaring open fire and the staff were very welcoming. We ordered drinks at the bar before being shown to our table in a cozy room just off the bar area, which had a nice view of the front side of the building. Our recent visit to this restaurant was disappointing. Typically, the service here is excellent, but during our visit, we had to actively seek out staff to place a drink order. It took until we finished our main course for the drinks to arrive. Throughout the meal, we were not offered any condiments and had to repeatedly ask for basic items. The overall service was slow and inattentive, which took away from our dining experience. This was the first time we felt the service was below par, as we have visited before.
