"Have dipped in and out of this pub over the last 20 years, but doubt will ever go again! Service was rude by the older guy behind bar who I believe is the landlord. No customer service and not at all welcoming. I understand the bar was busy as fete day in the village but no need for such poor customer service. should've been an opportunity, not a chore!! Food was poor quality and I was over charged only realised when got home. Not by much, but again showed the attitude of the server."

Lovely welcome from Mark the owner. Well kept beer and Guiness enjoyed the afternoon watching the rugby with the boys. Would recommend for a relaxed drink with friends.

Been to this pub a few times now and food has always bee great and plentiful. The landlord and landlady are always very welcoming and nothing to too much trouble. A great local pub.

An authentic pub with no pretentiousness, serving delicious homemade food. If I lived closer, I would definitely make it my go-to spot. Perfect for a leisurely walk on the green afterwards.

After the lockdowns, we were able to resume our monthly motorbike club gatherings. Unfortunately, the pub was not informed, and there was no food available. However, Jane kindly opened the kitchen and cooked us a delicious meal. We received fantastic service at this very welcoming inn. View menu

This is a true village pub with a relaxed atmosphere and locals enjoying a game of darts. We did not try the food on this visit, so we cannot comment on that. The price per person is between £1-10 and the service and atmosphere both rated a 4 out of 5. Plenty of parking is available as well.

We decided to take a chance and try a pub restaurant for Sunday lunch, thinking they would be fully booked. Luckily, we were able to get a table and were pleasantly surprised. The friendly waitress quickly served us delicious food and drinks, all while sharing local stories. Both the Thai curry and my chilli beans were equally tasty. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and a great start to dining out this year.
