"Heising Berlin is really a special place. From the special bell at the entrance to the immediate cloakroom delivery – here the experience starts before you sit. During our visit we were personally greeted by the boss and an employee. On Good Friday the restaurant was not crowded, which meant for us: more space and attention! The atmosphere recalls the golden 20s, with a touch of nostalgia. And yes, this is only paid in cash – a small retro touch that somehow fits, right? The service was excellent, attentive and the waiting times between the corridors were just right. The 4-course menu was not cheap with 89 euros per person, but the food was worth every cent. Gourmet cuisine from the finest! If the owner was a bit looser, the heising would be perfect. But perhaps this is exactly what belongs to the charm of this place – a little aristocratic strenge in the middle of the Berlin hustle and bustle."
