"Two years ago I wrote a scathing review of this cafe. Today we were in the park and decided to give it another go big mistake. My wife decided to have a pre packed sandwich and I picked a cello wrapped sandwich with a sticker saying hand made. My wife’s sandwich was just about ok but I was shocked when I opened my sandwich. It consisted of two dry slices of bread, three slices of cheddar cheese, the type you would buy from a supermarket, and one thin slice of tomato. Unbelievably when I took my sandwich back I was asked ‘do you want butter on your bread?’ as if I was asking for something unusual. He took it away and got it buttered. I was speechless. Needless to say we will never use this cafe again."

A bit of a shadow of its former self in these challenging times. Serving take away drinks and comestibles only only one staff member was on hand leaving many potential customers to give up queuing for a tea in a plastic cup or find half a plastic table on a patio outside at which to drink it.

Furthermore, although there were plenty of available tables outside, they were mostly occupied by middle-aged men playing board games, bypassing the queue and not making any purchases from the cafe. The location has great potential and the cafe could be exceptional if only there was a sense of care from the staff and management.

A really old place to relax and rest, I was looking at a beautiful palm tree while relaxing after a long walk through the park, this place has a mass of 54 acres, and believe me after all you want to relax. Here they make basic snacks and hot drinks, but if you're looking for more, look around the corner, they have a restaurant full of dishes.

Four of us stopped here today for a quick lunch. All the outside tables were stained with food and basically dirty, we had to clean one. The coffee was tasty but the sandwiches wrapped were insipid and dry. My shrimps were small, both in size and in quantity, and I think the Marie Rose sauce had evaporated. Bad quality and management should consider this and clean your site. Two stars simply by the pleasant environment. View menu

Too expensive, of poor quality, with a service not particularly pleasant. It could be much better, but it takes enormous advantage (maybe abuse) of the captivating audience with probably greater income available. 3. 25 per small of concentrated apple juice. Barista makes a matt white that looks more like a poor coffee (without information on the source of grains) with hot milk from irrigated. In total, 19 for four simple cakes, three simple drinks. . . outrageous.

This coffee could be so amazing but it's badly managed. The interior is in bad shape and feels very uncomfortable. There are no bathrooms in the cafeteria, you have to use the public a few minutes walk, which are really dirty. It's so cold outside, but inside the coffee it was also cold. Coffee's fine, but the food is very basic. The bollo was rancid, urgh. Fortunately, I took lunch for my son, as there was no way he would have eaten anything. A wasteful opportunity.

We found ourselves in the area and decided to visit the park before stopping for a drink and a snack. The restaurant felt a bit cramped due to the one-way setup because of Covid. Hand sanitizer was easily accessible and the person at the register was friendly and polite. The drinks and cakes were satisfactory. We chose to sit outside since it had been raining, so the table was damp, but the seats had been tipped up to keep them dry. We cleaned up after ourselves and that was it. Overall, nothing amazing, but not bad either. View menu

The place is not terrible but It’s disappointing as this cafe could be so much more with the beautiful park at its door step. The place looks poorly managed, there is litter on the terrace, the staff look disinterested, the man at the till hardly spoke English and got our order wrong. I really don’t understand how people managing places like this are so clueless. The name of the cafe is Holland Park Cafe by Cooks and Partners if cooks and partners sent someone here to overhaul the staff and renovate a little it could be a lovely little cafe.

None of the pastries at the counter were vegan, which is surprising in this day and age. When I requested a dark hot chocolate instead, I was informed that the chocolate powder they use is not vegan. The staff then dismissed me and began taking orders from other customers without offering me an alternative. Additionally, there is a 45p charge for soy milk, which seems excessive. I ended up purchasing a small bottle of iced tea from the fridge for £4.75, which I found to be overpriced. Furthermore, the tables under the arches had a unpleasant odor.
