holzhaeusl is in beautiful stand alone building with a very good Bavarian decor, a hearty Bavarian menu. the personal is inspiring and friendly. I had beer and special.

the meat is simply excellent! salat is also very good. the place is typical of a Bavarian experience and the entire environment is simply very comfortable! the staff is very friendly and you feel very well maintained! surely a place they remember and visit. when they're back in town!

we have friends for dinner in hozhaeusl on 13th and 15th October 2016. the owner peter Grabner is an excellent host. all meals served were very delicious and well presented. recommend the following items in the menu. Soupen: gulasch suppe, stein Pilzcreme mushroom and leberknoedel. leberitis . main courses: surbraten marinated pork; cleansed truthahneintopf; rinderroulade beef rouladen; , hirschgulasch deer goulash and rugged forelle smoked whole trout. beer and wood fruit.

The first day, my husband and a friend went there for dinner and after 1 hour the waiter came to appologise because they had forgotten their order. Today we had dinner there and was fantastic. We can recommend the ceps dumplings and the steak tartar....Yummy. Service was today friendly and fast. We recomend to make reservation, specially on weekends. We had 1 starter to share, 2 main courses and soft drinks. No wine and no desserts and the price was 45€. Good quality though.

we were recommended because the place where we lived does not offer good quality food and we were very pleasantly surprised! we went during the white asparagus season, so all a variation of it and it was all nicely cooked. the staff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed. I went out menu with my order that was no problem at all. several different weeping through the glass, so we all had different that fit us perfectly. beautiful place and will definitely go again next time I am in griesbach golf.

An meinem Geburtstagabend, waren wir dort Essen leider!Hatte einen Zwiebelrostbraten mit Röstkartoffeln knapp 16€. Erste Teil vom Fleisch war zäh und die Röstkartoffeln konnte man nicht Essen. Fritteuse kurz aufgewärmt und von der Konsistenz zu schweigen. Dieses beim Personal bemängelt keine Reaktion. Bezahlen und gehen die Devise. Hatte mich auf Tripadvisor verlassen, leider diesmal daneben. Das Haus ist mehr auf Weine und Liköre sowie Zigarren spezialisiert. Für mich eine Lehre diesmal. Zum Heurigen wäre besser gewesen!

Komme seit vielen Jahren...Essen..Service...Getränke..alles großartig.Peter ist ein lieber Mensch der sich herzlich um seine Gäste kümmert...ebenso seine liebe Frau und sein super nettes Team. Egal ob zu einem kleinen Frühschoppen..einem kalten Gericht oder einem warmen Abendessen...es war alles immer sehr, sehr lecker. Es war mir eine lieb gewordene Tradition...wenn ich im Maximilian anreiste...zuerst rüber ins Holzhäusel..mindestens zu einer Suppe und einem Bier. Da ich besagtes Hotel nie mehr betreten werden komme ich auch nicht mehr in den Genuß ins schöne Holzhäusel gehen zu können.
