Picked this place due to the reviews and how close it is to Catania airport. Wow! The previous positive reviews were spot on; not much to look at, in a really not so tourist area but the food is terrific. Try the antipasto seafood buffet you won’t be disappointed. Terrific place.

we tried several fish restaurants in catania, but the air from the lighthouse has a prominent place for us: really fresh fish, fried and grilled. we haven't tried the first yet, but we'll definitely come back. the owners are very kind. I mean, for us, a place where I'm sure to come back

We ended up here following a 20-year old memory and we were very happy to be welcomed notwithstanding the very late hour we demanded lunch. dont be put off by the location and unattractive outsides (and insides as well actually... . The owners are charming and the food excellent, very fresh fish! The prices are very competitive. Definitely recommended.

This is a local restaurant run by 4 brothers. Food is excellent and good value. There is an Antipasto buffet and the waiters can bring a tray of fish for you to select from. We had the local red wide which was excellent. They offer you Freddo or Calde (warm or chilled) wine. The menu looks limited but you can also order other meals. The other table had Pasta with Sea Urchins. All meals are cooked fresh and the chef will come out to talk to you. Tonna Scottato is delicious. We liked it so much we came back a second night.
