Cool relaxed feel. Attentive pleasant wait staff. Good for breakfast. Tasty options. On a quiet street .

All day brunch was perfect after arriving late the evening before. There's an option for everyone, from yoghurt with fruit to sandwiches or eggs. The lunch menu looked great too!

Krásná kavárna-bistro, obsluha velice příjemná i přes to, že mají pořád plno a na místo mnohdy i čekáte. Super atmosféra. Jídlo vynikající, skvělá káva a úžasné matcha latte. Dát si zde ke snídani mimózu je prostě báječné! Mohu jen doporučit (byla jsem tu asi 3x a pokaždé super). View menu

This truly is a place of small wonder. It's a cute little cafe for breakfast and brunch on the second floor (imagine windows open with a light breeze). The decor is rustic and makes you feel very much at home. Staff are friendly and the food is great. It's not a huge menu but it offers variety from traditional breakfast items to Japanese flavor.

Kommer til stedet, og ser lang kø. Man skriver seg på en liste hos en hyggelig ansatt, og kan rusle litt rundt i området mens man venter på bord i 20 - 30min.Veldig hyggelig lokale, og betjening. Får raskt mat og drikke, som faller i smak. Kjøpte to punsj drinker, og en irish cappuccino, der drinkene var god og syrlig, mens cappuccinoen var litt søt.Vi bestilte en taco rett og en yoghurt muffins egg- bendetict typ rett. Begge falt i smak hos oss, min favoritt var egg retten. Rikelig med mat på begge to.Veldig hyggelig sted!

Lokal jak na zdjęciach. Kręte schody na gurze pomieszczenie w stylu vintage. Miło i sympatycznie. Obsługa raczej w języku angielskim. Dania dobre a cena przystępna. Moja zupa miala miniaturowa porcje i była letnia. Nie gorąca nie ciepła tylko prawie zimna. Ale danie koleżanki to juz spora porcja bardzo dobrej wieprzowiny z ryżem. Moim zdaniem jeśli sie jest akurat w pobliżu i nie musicie długo czekać to warto. Jeśli czas oczekiwania to dłużej niż 20 min. można poszukać innego lokalu bo aż tak specjalnie i pysznie to tu nie jest. View menu

This cafe was right beside our hostel but we only went to it on our last morning. We would have gone again. There is a bit of a wait at brunch time. But you can wait in the entrance which has a beautiful stairs and plants. We were seated at the end of a high table which we weren't too keen on but it was ok. We had the French toast, scrambled egg croissant sandwhich with gespacho, a macha latte, a macha iced coffee and some of their homemade sparkling minty lemonade cocktail. Food was delicious and the decor is very pretty. We loved it. Thanks HOSW

If someone asked me to suggest one, and only one, cafe to visit in Berlin I would say House of Small Wonder without even thinking. My first impression when walking through the doors was "wow this is picture worthy", and calling House of Small Wonder a "hipster cafe" is not exaggerating a bit. However that might be exactly what gives it this amazing atmosphere. It's hard to describe, but the lovely waitresses, the wonderful 70s/80s music and the nice decoration makes for an extremely cosy and special atmosphere. I went to House of Small Wonder after the recommendation of friends and I was not disappointed.This charming little restaurant is only a 5min walk from Oranienburgerstrasse Station. The entrance is a bit hidden in the corner of a wall though.I really liked the atmosphere of the place, with some jazz music humming in the background and plant pots hanging off the ceiling. The restaurant feels cosy and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we could taste the fact that everything is freshly made.
