Hummus - Menu

Had the falafel wraps with baba ganoush and hummus side. Extremely tasty food and coffee, great value and very friendly owner. Will be back to try the rest of the menu soon.

Went in for an early lunch and were treated very well. The bloke running it was keen to cater to our tastes with the, clearly fresh, food. Tasty and flavourful with many different options of Lebanese cuisine. We had a fantastic lunch indeed!

I'm a regular here, as they do the best Arabic food for a takeaway diner in Edinburgh. The food, service and staff are all excellent. If this restaurant was in the middle of town, queues would be forming outside the door. As it is, it's a great Morningside secret. The owner cooks felafel fresh and does a mean wrap with homemade flat bread, pickle and humus. Absolutely perfect little lunch. Meze and baklava too. All fresh and yummy.

I have been here multiple times and the food is always delicious, fresh. Definitely one of my top favourite places in Edinburgh. Delicious authentic Lebanese food run by a very friendly family. The cafe itself is very cute with a cosy home like feeling with books and art. And the prices are totally reasonable. Cheaper and way better quality food than a lot of places in town. Love it.

This is our favourite breakfast spot inEdinburgh! Freshly made, yummy Lebanese food, what’s not to like! Family run business, the staff couldn’t not be more friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend to every and anyone. The Baclava and coffee make it the perfect mid morning coffee spot and the wraps and salads are delicious. Fabulous food and a big warm welcome for such a a wee cafe. Visiting Edinburgh with my daughter-in law who is vegan , I luckily googled “Vegan Morningside” which led us to Hummus. Staff were super friendly and really welcoming. The place is TINY but the food was AMAZING. We had the crispy cauliflower flatbread with salad and tahini and pickled turnip and shared a baklava and a carrot cake … all delicious and served on very sweet vintage plates, water provided too. We loved it and will definitely go back to try more of the menu

Stumbled across this place while having a wander round Morningside on a Monday afternoon. My friend and I are definitely foodies and love seeking out authentic cuisine in the city or wherever we go. Firstly, the owner is welcoming, friendly and passionate about his business. It was lovely to chat to him and hear about how the food is made. The food surpassed all expectations. Having tasted proper Lebanese food in the past, this was bang on!! The food was fresh, vibrant and delicious. I literally can’t wait to go back and try more of the food. This place is a real gem in Morningside!!

I visited for lunch with 6 friends a few weeks ago, and was treated to an amazing spread by the owner and his family. Not knowing much about Lebanese food we gave the staff free rein to provide food for us all. We were treated to a fantastic assortment of dishes, dips, and bread to share, every bit of which was completely delicious. My favourite was the baba ganoush which was so smokey and flavourful, and the falafel which was herby and zingy, but chatting over our feast each one of my friends had a different fave. The cafe was super cosy and the staff were a delight, we had a wonderful lunch and will definitely be back again. View menu
