"Looks can be deceiving they say! And now I believe that too! This restaurant may look like one of the many in Chinatown but i've had people swear by this place. On entering you may think that its a tiny place with some 4 odd tables but as you go up the floors..you can easily have a party of 12-15 and you'll get a table. It was super crowded but then again it was a friday and it was Chinatown. The menu is pretty extensive with a wide variety of dishes. They also had a decent wine menu. We were a group of 7 and each paid around 15-20 pounds per person. They have set meals for 2/3/4 people as well which allow you to have crispy duck, 2 main courses and rice. I ordered the Kung pao chicken with egg fried rice. Their kung pao was good and the best was the water chestnuts in it. Quantity is good for one person I'd say. Others had ordered spring rolls, soups, veal(which was a bit chewy), beef and pork dishes. The vermicelli was also great. All in all people were pretty happy with their meal. However the bill is a bit tough to calculate when you're splitting. Everything is in chinese so you might want to get help from the servers there. Its a great little place to get your chinese craving fixed. Recommended!"

The restaurant has a front window displaying hanging roasted meats being marinated, giving customers an early preview of what to expect. Despite the tempting display of meat, we decided to opt for a selection of char siu and crispy cubes of roast pork known as siu yuk.

This restaurant in Chinatown has been my go-to spot for years, even after a renovation and name change (previously known as Crispy Duck). Despite its deceivingly small appearance, it actually spans three floors, so don't be discouraged if it looks busy when you arrive.

If you're craving authentic Hong Kong Chinese cuisine, look no further than Hungry. Just a glimpse through the window will confirm that you're getting a taste of real Cantonese dishes. With friendly and attentive service, along with the best hot pot in Chinatown, you won't be disappointed.

I’ve been coming to this place for decades as it is something of an institution with crazy opening hours. Something like 11am to 4am if I recall correctly. What you get here is inexpensive and unpretentious Cantonese food. It’s not the best but I know what I’m getting for the £8 or so when I order the wonton and roast duck soup noodles or the beef and black bean sauce ho fun. I read an article that this place had closed permanently due to Covid and impossible rents. I hope permanent closure isn’t the case as this would be a huge loss for China Town.

What's so special about Hung's is that it's open until VERY late. And I mean late: 4.30am. So, why get a greasy kebab when you can devour some tasty Chinese food? Don't be put off by its ordinary exterior, Hung's serves up generous portions of good food. The dishes are nice and well presented, and right up your street if you have cravings for Chinese food in the early hours! Hung's is also the place to go for casual meet-ups in the daytime. The staff are attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is good. I would recommend the Roast Duck, it just melts away in your mouth.

The luring front window full of ducks, reminiscence of a stereotypical Chinatown, little let you suspect of what awaits you inside, even the ground floor is deciving, with a small room housing very few tables. But as soon as you reach the floors above you discover a spacious and bright restaurant, with attentive and efficient staff and mouthwatering food. The portions are abundant and a good value, considered the quality, compared with other establishment in the area. The fact that most of the patrons are chinese gives a certificate of quality to the place. Among the food I sampled, the pecking duck is to die for, the hot and sour soup has a lovely kick and the kung po chicken, once eaten wi...

they were already here a few times with my godparent and eating is delicious and well done. service is good and what I like is the small hot plate that put them on the table so that their eating remains warm. I had to roll the meat that were tasty and accompanied with a beside dish of sweet chilli sauce that went well. then I had the chicken sweet and sour with chicken noodles that was delicious and went well. good service, polite and clean. can't blame her. godparent says that he has been coming to this place for years and I know that he would not visit further if eating was not good, so that it is good. what is nice after the meal, they give them hot wet wipes to clean their hands as well...
