"I was visiting Nice and had a craving for Vietnamese food despite the delicious French and Italian food everywhere. I came across this place because it had excellent reviews and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed! It's take-out style, but I dined in because it was cute and clean inside. I got the salade gá(chicken salad), vermicelli noodles, a beef side, and a shrimp side. All were very tasty and they even had sriracha if you want your food to be spicer! My favorite was the salade gá because it was a perfect, crisp dish for a warm Nice day. Oh and get a Saigon beer from their fridge! Bon appétit!"

Travelled in Nice again and first thing I did was; heading straight back to Huy traiteur for my first meal. Never disappointed! Great service as always (he remembered me). Can't recommend it enough!

Very good vietnamese and thai food by this small traiteur. Just traveled around Asia this summer, not knowing one of the best asian food is made in Nice. We had a very complete meal (incl. Singa beer) for only 16€ pp. We love this place.

if you stay in Nice take time to go to this restaurant specialised into Vietnamese cuisine. Large choice of fresh meal (I recommend the shrimp spring roll). There are few seats and take away is more convenient. The staff is very pleasant. It's a pleasure to go there.

I ordered takeaway food via Deliveroo while staying in Nice. Food arrived ahead of schedule but wasn't hot on arrival. It felt like it wasn't made fresh and may have been part of an old batch. The person who answered the phone from Huy couldn't understand English very well, which wasn't their fault, but meant I ate cold takeaway. Unimpressed.

Visited here due to its high ranking on trip advisor. Don't get me wrong, lovely food. But as has been said before it is microwaved food that was prepared earlier in the day, it is basically a takeaway with a breakfast bar at the front where you can eat in if you want, which we did. Staff were friendly and translated all their dishes for us. Not one to get dressed up for on an evening. I'm not sure I would recommend to my friends to go there whilst on holiday, but great takeaway for the locals

Long story short - I ordered food from this restaurant via Deliveroo on the 30th January to deliver to my hotel. When ordering it asks if you would like cutlery or chopsticks, which makes sense given the nature of the food. However, despite specifically requesting it and it being on my order the food arrived with no cutlery. They refused to refund me or bring me cutlery and so I was left with a lot of food I could not eat unless I started eating chicken curry with my hands. False advertising and was scammed into ordering food under false pretences. Still chasing a refund, avoid at all costs.

So this is more of a deli than a restaurant, however there are tables available but don't expect a party of eight to be seated.Buy and go is the method. The options are plentiful are all very very nice.Make sure your hungry as their really is a lot to choose from and you can get very easily carried away - like we did - and buy some of everything on the menu !!!!Would I go back ? Most definitely. Next time I'm in Nice, I know exactly where to go for a decent Vietnamese take away.Very helpful owners so don't feel shy to ask.Also worth noting at during the month of August, they are closed every Monday.
