"We have lived close by for almost 2 years but never had a chance to visit because of covid. We decided on the day that we both wanted to go out and were lucky to get a table booked that afternoon. We choose to go with the tapas menu rather than the main as we wanted to try several dishes. Chicken wings, chorizo, meatballs, prawns bruschetta burata. Each dish was delicious. Accompanied with jug of sangria, it was a perfect combination. My partner had profiteroles for dessert which she is still raving about now. All in all a great experience and we will be back soon."

This Italian restaurant is truly magical. We visit often and always enjoy a wonderful experience. We recently celebrated a girls' night out and the staff made us feel so welcome. Thank you and we will definitely be back soon.

I have my family for a birthday dinner here. the food was great and there was a nice atmosphere as the restaurant filled. the staff was helpful and friendly. great restaurant in the heart of thedon bois in essex, which I would like to recommend

We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant, enjoying fantastic food and sangria. We tried all five of the tapas dishes, and they were all delicious. We finished our meal with the best profiteroles we've ever had. We can't believe it took us so long to visit this place, but we will definitely be back soon.

Went here last night for the first time (now called Barber Cafe) and the food, service and decor is amazing! The lobster linguini on specials was outstanding, hope they keep it on the menu as I will now be a regular customer and want that everytime! Portions are a very good size, they don't rush you out the door and they were more than happy to make something for one of us who wanted something not on the menu.
