"we were often guests in il postino and loved the special atmosphere of the old post together with the decor. but it has always been shaved during the service. if you are served from the left in front of the nase, for which the drinks and the eating are served, it doesn't make fun. insalata di tonno "rich garnished" was a hill with a lot of thon on a spicy baptism of packaged salate, among which I found a little bit more. this served without sauce (my opposite had an insalata mista to the appetizer; the itali. sauce comes from the engros market. when we wanted to talk to the chef, he had no open ear and did not even run after a minute while we were lying. such a behavior from restaurant owner speaks for itself."

This place is great, take away is fast and the people there are extremely friendly. Even though I cannot speak a lick of the local language they were very helpful. 6/5 stars! View menu

I can't understand what you're talking about, I was eating with my family today and eating was sensational! I am very often there and will come back :-). il postino is a cult restaurant and thanks for the nice service:)

Really nice food (only two veggie options though for pizza) and the downstairs room we were in because of a function upstairs was ok but the music dire. The main negative was the service it was very matter of fact and at points I wondered if he actually wanted us to be there in the first place. Good food strange service. And we had to pay for tap water!?

I have eaten several times in postino. basic was eating and the service earlier was better.Leider deteriorates the service and the quality of the diners a bit.Of course a cool location, but I feel that too little is heard here on the feedback of the guests. The pizzas are ok, but not wow, the meat normal but not as I would expect.Leider can I recommend the il postino at the moment so much. the ambiente is very generously divided into an interior and exterior area. the waiters are very friendly, fast and competent. the food was served at the same time and very quickly and even though we were a rather larger group. the weeping consulting totally met our taste and the flesh was the madness. a compliment to the cook. also those who had ordered pizzas were very satisfied. the price performance is great. we were happy and will be happy to come back.

we have known the restaurant for a long time and were long satisfied and loyal guests. both eat, especially the pizza, and the service were top. in the last 2 years, however, in both view it was only huge downhill. our visit today was also the last. the pizza labbrig and much too much cheese. Long waiting times, unattended and partly overwhelmed staff, forgotten orders, paid hahnenwasser for children despite complete dinner for a 4 family (2.80 chf/glas).il postino, you were once great, but that was once.

"This is my fav Italian joint in Zurich. La Famiglia Tremonte is a small, family run cafe-restaurant that serves excellent and authentic Italian food at prices that are low compared to the norm in Zurich.Famiglia Tremonte is rather inconspicuously located at the corner of Zurlindenstrasse and Birmensdorferstrasse, a couple of doors away from The Desperado Mexican Restaurant. You might need to look for it a little: I lived practically next door and did not notice it for almost a year, and even then a friend had to point it out to me.The restaurant is mostly a takeout with very little seating, i.e. 7 people inside, and when the weather is goo, about 5 people outside. The ambience is basic but, like most things in Switzerland, the interiors are very clean. Staff and service are very goo. The food here is awesome! Authentic Italian fare that is probably heavily influenced by Sicilian tradition since that is where the family is from. I used to visit almost every day because the food tastes great and the prices are so low for Zurich. I have tried almost everything: several pasta dishes, polpettine, stuffed bell peppers, meatloaf, piadina, and of course, the fabulously tasty and hot chilli infused EVOO. I enjoyed every dish I ordered. Great stuff! I strongly recommend the super-hot chilli infused EVOO as a seasoning for almost all dishes, but especially the pasta dishes that come in a cream sauce. Please be careful with chilli EVOO: 0.5 tbsp. for noobs, and a max. of 2 tbsp. for those who like it hot. The chilli EVOO, when used appropriately, adds great flavour to your dish. The piadina is the best I have eaten - period. I have been all over the world, spent a lot of time in Italy and New York (: great place for Italian food lovers :), and I still think this is the best piadina ever. They also serve some nice Italian desserts -- I've tried a few but have forgotten the names. They also have a small selection of Italian ingredients for sale. I bought the pesto and was happy with it. You also get a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic Italian drinks to go with the food.Prices are relatively low by Zurich standards: I rarely ever ate for more than CHF 15, and if I skipped the drinks it was usually around CHF 10. Of course, this varies a bit according to what you order.Highly recommended. Glad I found this place. Great for office workers in the vicinity."

"My recent visit to Edi's Pizzeria in downtown Zurich was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly set the tone for the entire experience. First and foremost, I must commend the staff for their exceptional service. Every member of the team was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of perfection. From offering recommendations to promptly refilling drinks, their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food.
