Great place to spend with friends or couples, and also for events such as celebrating degrees or birthdays. Friendly and helpful staff.

Typical location and good choice of beers, but positive notes end here. Slow and distracted service, discreet food but too expensive. To improve. I give the only slight attenuation about the fact that I was in the evening of the immaculate.

Food was very good, we had some pasta, burgers and some fried polenta, everything was tasty. What we didn't like was the plastic glasses we got for the water and the fact that there wasn't a single bottle of water at room temperature that we can give to the kids.

(6 people less) even if in a fairly educated way, you can not turn bad to customers, dinner is not free. waiting times for the courses, a little long (and we were the first in the room). quality food and wide choice of beers. Wow! After a lovely stroll through the ancient part of Bari, we happened upon Luppolo. They have a small selection of draft beers, mostly St. Benoit, and a big selection of bottles. The food was fantastic! We had little meatballs with our beers. They were the best I'd ever had! And, the chef created a big salad for us, letting us choose which ingredients we wanted.

I booked my big group tonight in this pub in the historic center of bari. we arrived and our table was already available, we asked to add two more places and we were available immediately adding two chairs. were careful to control the green passage to all. very good and cold beer. delicious scagliosa as well as the mortadella in terrina is the crispy and very warm cyscose. all good and especially the very kind and attentive waiters, especially the boy of the bar who brought us the beers and also the ordinations.

The place was suggested to us by two local ladies who happened to know some of the waiters. As its name reveals luppolo is hop in Italian beer is center stage and Pilsner Urquel is actually the queen. The variety of international beers they offer, mostly bottles, is surprising for a region that 's associated to wine. Even more surprising was the menu where local ingredients mixed with high end imported stuff (salmon, tuna, Angus beef). We were a medium sized group and had many different dishes, everything was highly appealing and very tasty. The one that stand out was the grilled tuna with pistachio crust (the fine smoked taste, never before had I such a 'gasmic tuna steak) and the oven back...
