"We went for lunch on our last day on the recommendation of our guide book and it turned out to be very good. The place is in a quiet street round the corner from Friedrichstrasse station and we had some very nice sushi and sashimi. I can't claim to be an expert on Japanese food but it was tasty and seemed to be pretty fresh. The mixed sashimi was very good and we had an assortment of nigiri, maki and other tyres of sushi to follow. There's also hot food and various set menus are available. The restaurant only accepts cash but we ate well for around €20. The green tea is supplied free of charge and you can refill with hot water as you go. Service was pleasant, helpful and efficient. There's an English menu if you ask for one."

Good fresh sushi, lots of options to chose from. Fair prices. The place gets quite crowded in the evenings.

The sushi was good and also for a acceptable price. The ambiance and service could be improved. As a guest i want to feel welcome; the restaurant is like a food factory, smiling is allowed!

Very tasty, fresh, authentic and affordable. I regularly try other sushi places in Berlin but always come back here. A well established classic! Happy Hour on sushi menues till 4pm, Wednesday and Saturday all day.

For me this was the best part of the meal. For a very causal restaurant like this one, the tuna was surprisingly very good. Slight fatty and fresh. The yakitori was forgettable however and the salmon average. Overall, I give it a 4 out if 5. If you want a quick and good meal this is the place for it.

Since I live in Berlin, I have visited this restaurant dozens of times, and it's always a good option: by less than 10 euros you can have very filling dishes. The service resembles that of a cafeteria rather than a restaurant, but I enjoy the vibe. You get to see the cooks making your food, and you get free green tea, which is always a plus. A must visit for the ones running on a low budget.

We always saw many Japanese restaurants all around Berlin, we decided to pick one randomly so we saw this one. Walked in and all staffs was very friendly, after not long a waitress arrived taking our orders and drinks. The tea with free refill and also few beer. The price was very reasonable for four of us under 90 euro. The steamed rice was awesome, never try it before and the sushi was at good standard. Definitely recommending this place. Give it a try and you will love it.

In comparison to other Japanese restaurants this one is memorable only for the scowl on the face of our waitress. She did not welcome us in anyway and robotically took our orders. Yes, she served up the food in good time but never enquired if we were happy with the food or needed more drinks. The tuna was bland and the dumplings hollow. My wife had the beef strips and I had the belly pork both with rice both were ok. We didn’t wait for dessert. Overall –don’t waste your appetite on this restaurant.!

We found this little gem in one of guidebooks after finishing a trip to the Reichstag Dome and finding ourselves incredibly hungry. It was a short walk away so we thought we'd try it. The restaurant itself is like a nice open room with long tables so you share perhaps with another individual or party. There is a large selection of sushi and nice hot dishes like gyoza. It's happy hour on Saturday so there are nice mixed sushi platters at a very reasonable price. My sushi dishes were delicious and fresh, all served with a free refills cup of green tea.Excellent, if you love Japanese food then I would definitely recommend a spot of lunch here.
