"Did not book went for a lovely evening meal. They had no trouble accommodating us, despite being well booked for the Saturday evening service. It’s Abarbistro, and as such drinkers, mostly quite young, were also present, but they didn’t really cause any problem. In fact, they’re quite entertaining to watch and listen to! The food was served quickly and was tasty and well presented. The service from the young, waiting on staff was exemplary. Really enjoyed visiting and the surroundings which were bright modern and clean. Our food was tasty and generous in proportions considering the price in the £15-£20 range."

"This was the first night out my husband and I have had together in three years, and NuMber 9 exceeded our expectations. The tapas-style dishes with an Asian twist were fantastic. We especially loved the spicy nduja-filled burrata and the salt and pepper squid. We will definitely return!"

"I stopped by for a quick lunch and found that they have a dedicated vegan menu. The staff was well-informed about vegan options. We ordered the cheese, tomato, and pesto toasties, which came with a side salad. When the dish arrived, the salad had a creamy dressing on it, but the waitress assured me—without me even asking—that everything, including the dressing, was vegan. This made me feel more at ease dining in a mixed-menu restaurant. The toastie was enjoyable, though I believe they used Violife cheese, so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to its texture when melted. We also shared a slice of chocolate orange and marzipan cake, along with a brownie. Both were tasty, but the texture of the brownie was a bit off—it tasted more like chocolate cake. It was paired with vegan ice cream, which was a nice touch."
