"I eat here whenever I come to Heathrow as I quite like the Itsu chain for their healthy and convenient Japanese style food. Although it 's not like one of those hard core authentic (and usually expensive) Japanese restaurants, it does a healthy take on Japanese food and combines a few Western ingredients such as Avocado and does low carb salads so it 's great for something less heavy before a flight. They have various sushi bento boxes, salad boxes such as Tuna sashimi salad, edamame, sashimi etc. However, if you are looking for real Asian food, you will not find it here as this a very Westernised take on Japanese food combined with the latest health trends. For those who prefer hot food, they have some great brown rice bowls and soups too, although I found the soup to be a bit too salty. My mum had one of the curry brown rice bowls and found it to be pretty good and quite filling. The prices are decent enough, not overly expensive but not super cheap either. Most things are around or less than £10 though. The service was ok, although they forgot to make my coffee so I actually had to go up and remind them about it. They have a nice selection of smoothies and drinks plus a cute panda shaped bento for kids. The portions are perfectly sized; not too big and not too small. In terms of freshness, it 's hard to judge as everything is in the fridge and you just pick out what you want. I saw then restocking it a few times, so I suspect it would be reasonably fresh. Overall: Healthy and convenient Japanese-ish style food that won 't make your wallet cry. Food: 3/5 Convenience: 5/5 Prices: Reasonable Variety: 5/5 Service: 3/5 Seating: 4/5"

A decent place in Heathrow to have a quick sort of healthy meal before a flight. They have a pretty good selection of prepared sushi trays to go. They charge you more to eat at the tables there. Your better off getting it to go. There are some counters right in front where you can sit, eat, and recharge any electrical items.

Great little sushi place in Terminal 5. Take out is slightly cheaper, and they have some tables with USB power. Perhaps a bit pricey, but fresh, very tasty and nicely arranged with various greens, grilled onions, scallions etc. If you full power outlets, check right behind the establishment at the row of chairs with UK power outlets and USB outlets.

This was a new restaurant relative to my last visit to Terminal 5. I was familiar with the restaurant having eaten previously at one of their in town locations. This location was similar. Customers order at a walk up counter. There is a small seating area with small community tables. I had the veggie'gyoza noodle'bowl. It was tasty, and I enjoyed it. The dish was available quickly after I ordered. This may well be my new favorite Terminal 5 eatery.

I was pleasantly surprised by the airport food! My flight was delayed and the in-flight meal was altered, so they provided us with a £10 food voucher. I had never been to Itsu before, but I had seen their signs all over London and was in the mood for something a bit healthier. I tried the double chicken teriyaki for just £10, which I expected to cost much more. While the chicken was a bit dry, the portion was generous, and it came with plenty of rice and vegetables.

Early on Wednesday morning, I was looking for a spot for a quick breakfast in the terminal. The line here was quite manageable, and there was plenty of seating available, complete with USB charging ports for your devices. I decided to go for a healthier option and ordered the Blueberry Boost Porridge for £3.49 and a bottled juice for £2. The porridge arrived quickly and was a warm, semi-sweet oatmeal topped with several fresh blueberries. It was surprisingly well-balanced and flavorful, definitely not bland. The juice, a mix of berries and oranges, was a bit on the small side, but I didn't mind the portion. Overall, for airport food, it was quite good. I'm not sure about their lunch options,...

If you're looking for a quick Japanese meal option at Heathrow, Itsu is a decent choice. The sushi was surprisingly good for airport takeout—definitely better than I anticipated. It did remind me of the kind you might find at a drug store, though! They also offer coffee (which I tried) and some fantastic bottled waters; you must try the peach and lychee flavors—absolutely delightful! They accept credit cards, and while prices are on the higher side (typical for an airport), they’re not too outrageous. If you need to power up, there are several tables nearby with different types of outlets. I'll definitely be stopping back at Itsu next time I'm at LHR, especially for that fancy bottled water!...

Fast food Japanese food in LHR Airport to consider if you're in a hurry ...or just feel like eating something with rice as compared to potatoes or bread! (Especially like a person from Hawaii like me! Flew threw LHR several times over the past few years and first noticed this place in 2019. If there is a line, it isn't very long and moves fast. Got places to sit down and have some charging ports . Food selection is somewhat limited with salmon Inari or Maki style sushi, got some salads, or if you want something hot, got won ton or chicken bowls and a few other things. I find it convenient since it is right next to a sitting area if you have to make a connection but your flight gate has not y...

I was looking for a quick bite and some charging on my layover in LHA. I stumbled upon Itsu and was very pleasantly surprised. Excellent healthy choices, nice selection for vegetarians. As a vegetarian, that is very important to me. The 2 quinoa-falafel and veg rice bowl is nice. Perfect amount of spice, probably a bit heavy handed on the portion of rice. 3 falafels for that amount of rice would be preferable. Hot gyoza dumplings are worth the splurge. I heard the cashier mention everything is fresh and regularly rotated out every few hours. Takes away the fear of airport food! My meal including a Pellegrino was about £10 so definitely on the pricier side. Especially considering I 'm watchin...

The food options at Terminal 5 were limited and all the sit down restaurants I passed had waits. I didn't want to risk a long time to eat when I had a flight and I didn't want to just grab a sandwich sitting on a shelf for who knows how longs at one of the shops. So a good medium solution: itsu. Hot food quickly when you need a meal but are conscious of time. I got a thing of sushi and thought it was fine. It's better than I expected for an airport, so I was happy. It was nicely packaged. My husband got a noodle soup and it was nice and hot and chock full of meet and veggies and was very filling for not too high a cost (again, it's an airport, things are going to cost more than on the outsid...
