Absolutely fabulous Sunday Lunch....Roast Beef and all the trimmings...Eat here quite often as I am local and the food never disappoints...

Called in today lovely pub and the staff was so helpful and attentive. The food was amazing the venison was cooked to perfection. The lamb shank was stunning too. We will be returning. And complements to the chef and all the staff

The food was excellent but the service disappointing which may be down to the young age of staff and/or lack of training. Two requests to order were ignored. It appears from other reviews, this was very much the exception to the rule.

We stopped for a spontaneous Sunday dinner on our way home and it turned out to be the best decision we made. The lamb shank and duck breast were absolutely delicious, and the Dauphinois potatoes were particularly standout. Highly recommend this place!

Booked a table with the family for a Thursday night, the place was busy with a good atmosphere. The menu was really good with plenty of choices. We all agreed the food was delicious! I had the cheese pie and it was the best I’ve ever had. The staff were efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

We stopped by for a midweek meal and were pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu and the specials. All of our dishes were outstanding, especially the cheese pie. The service was excellent, and they were accommodating when we wanted to mix and match our sides. The prices were fair and the ambiance was nice.

We visited on Sunday afternoon , Christmas eve , the pub was busy .our party of six were seated efficiently ,our drinks order taken and delivered promptly , the food order was taken and our choices was served promptly , the food was excellent , the waitresses did an excellent job , as usual, and the bill was reasonable at the end , thanks .

Food was fantastic, we were a group of 9 with adults, teenagers and 1 small child. Every dish was delicious. Service was good, however, 1 of the kids meals was missed off the ticket. Apologies were made and mistakes happen, just disappointing foe 1 of the party to be left waiting. The atmosphere was great, good value for money and we would return.

Unfortunately, there were other issues during this visit. Two of us ordered the turkey dinner and while the vegetables were decent, the turkey was clearly processed meat and did not resemble or taste like real turkey. Is it too much to expect real turkey meat when ordering a turkey dinner? I highly doubt I will be returning to this restaurant again.
