We were struggling to have a decent meal in Bingen, then arrived here and Wow!! Great decor inside, not very expensive for the quality of food and wine

Wie waren Freitags Abends zu Gast und wurden herzlichst empfangen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und auch das Essen war hervorragend. Schöne urrige rustikale Stimmung.

Er waren nogal wat reservaties, toch deed men de moeite om een plaatsje voor 3 personen vrij te maken. Zeer vlotte bediening en bijzonder lekker eten, voor een matig prijsje.

Best Schnitzel in Rudescheim! Just stopped while at the Christmas Markets. Recommendation from one of the local vendors. Excellent service and a very quaint and local feel. Exactly what we were looking for!

We started with a local dark beer and local white wine while sitting in the garden. The waitress left the menus with us and we decided to try the local cuisine. The potato pancakes reminded me of the ones my grandmother made. My husband tried the seared shrimp with dill sauce. Both delicious. We finished with the apple strudel. Yummy!

Letzten Samstag Nachmittag sind wir hier kurz entschlossen eingekehrt. Hatten uns draussen in den Biergarten gesetzt und wurden dann gebeten rein zukommen. Wir sind flexibel. Der Service ist sehr nett und die beiden Speisen eine Gulaschsuppe mit Brot und eine Folienkartoffel mit Sauerrahm waren sehr lecker. Speziell die Kartoffel war super. Das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet.

What a great little find this was in Ruedesheim. Stopped in for lunch one day and had the Goulash soup it was terrific. Enjoyed a couple of beers also and enjoyed being out of the cold in a warm and friendly environment. We enjoyed it so much that I came back here for dinner with my parents the following night. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dinner food and drinks, Staff warm and pleasant given our lack of German language. Great spot and I highly recommend for an authentic time.

Wir waren zu fünft in der Jakobusklause am Rüdesheimer Marktplatz.Abgesehen von einem gemütlichen Ambiente hatten wir einen sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Service.Von der Tageskarte nahmen wir 3 mal die Ochsenbrust, die auf der Zunge zerging mit Meerettich Sauce, Salzkartoffeln und Salat. Und zweimal das Schweizer Sahneschnitzel, mit Pommes und Salat in klein.Auch hier war das Fleisch ein Genuss. Zu trinken hatten wir 2 Flaschen Südafrikanischen Rotwein, 1 Flasche Wasser und 2 Apfelschorle. Und jetzt kommt es - für alles zusammen waren wir mit 93 Euro dabei.Wir waren angenehm überrascht Wir kommen gerne wieder

My wife and I came to Rudesheim on a Viking cruise. We've been disappointed by the food on board so we went in search of a good meal with local ingredients. Rudesheim is full of tourist restaurants and I found it difficult to tell which reviews were trustworthy. We are SO GLAD we chose Jakobusklause! We each had a seasonal special with the famous local white asparagus in traditional German dishes. Both were excellent. Our server was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English without condescension. We asked her to choose a wine for us and she chose a lovely riesling from Rudesheim.
