"we (3 friends) have landed on 23.05.2017 purely by chance at the lunchtime, after a friendly visit to the opposite house rosenthal, in "janni’s taverne". at the time of our visit, there was no single guest in the restaurant, which was appropriately soberly furnished, so that the tavern has already closed. a young man, however, appeared after repeated hallo and gave us politely on the small beer garden next to the taverne and served us very fixed. a special lunch card was missing, instead we were presented with a broschiert speisen- und drinkkarte. a view immediately signaled a super-trial pricing like for example 2 lambspokes at 14,50 € or janni’s grillplatte at 16,50 €! also the prices for the appetizers appeared to us excessive. the ordered st. 4 leafy bags filled with spinach, endive, porree and feta at 7,50 € was of very good quality but as full-fledged lunch with regard to the quantity not sufficient. during the meal the chef of the house found himself with us, greeted us very kindly and offered us to the house ever a glass ouzo with ice cubes. he designed the final price individually for our gunsten. whether the suggested trip-advisor could have triggered this polite confidence boost remains in the unclear.The wed would be well advised if he would check the pricing on the map. I can only award 3 rating points based on the less attractive atmosphere and the unbalanced price/performance ratio. for the future I wish a happy hand in the guidance of his Taverne.mumeco in May 2017"

Banni the Owner and waiter are nice persons, they offered us round of ouzo at the end and were caring to us, food good and fresh (octopus was delicious)... To be recommanded

Actually came for the halloumi and the pita bread, which werent served in any other greek restaurants. Janni recommended the octopus arms, which are in fact prepared by himself and were astoundingly delicious! The size portion is worth ur money if compared to others. Service is very forth coming.

It was our first time there and the food made a positive impression. Seemed quite authentic. The fish I ordered the Dorade was tender and delicious. The wine was good as well. However, the whole place had a strange smell, like old frying fat. If that 's an indication of the quality of their French fries or other fried dishes, then I wouldn 't order those.

janni’s tavern I visited for the first time a few years ago. Since then the tavern is one of my favorite Greek restaurants in bonn. the gyros is the center of the restaurant and it is very tasty. but this is not the only main dish that you can enjoy here. if you choose the fish (e.g. dorade from grill) or the otopus, you can go with delicious food. the atmosphere is cozy and the staff very friendly and dedicated. in my opinion, the prices correspond to the great of the portions. the owner, jannis, tries to have as much as possible after eating a nice entertainment with the guests. I like to come here again and again!

janni’s taverne is now part of our local family... because we can reach it on foot and service and quality are consistent. the question "what does not stand on the map?" we ask after ordering the drinks first and are sometimes well surprised (the sweet potatoes were the absolute hammer!).Janni's taverne is not a fast snack, so the prices must not be compared with the pommesbude around the corner. prices are absolutely reasonable - compared with restaurants that maintain the same quality level. there is no convenience food from the can/tuce, but freshly prepared food with all its variations... sometimes more garlic, sometimes a little less. sometimes salty, sometimes less... but always good....

"It's Monday, and my wife and I have a reason to celebrate. But where on Monday night? „Monday Ruhetag“ we read on numerous restaurant pages on the Internet – also in the further Hennefer district. But who seeks to find – and indeed the Bonneria, a Spanish restaurant in Bonn-Beuel, within a range of just 20 kilometres. Vamos! The Bonneria is located in a residential and business district in the heart of Bonn-Beuel. Parking search can be problematic here, the parking spaces in the surrounding streets are usually occupied. A parking space which can be used from 18.00 h in the courtyard of the residential and commercial building, on the ground floor of which the restaurant is located, is small and also quickly occupied. We're lucky and find a narrow car park for our companion. It is warm on this 6th of September, and we have already telephonicly explored whether we have a chance at the 18.00 h on a table on the restaurant's garden terrace, which is next to the parking lot in the yard. The Bonneria does not accept a reservation for the terrace. Our chance of a table at this time is taxed by a service employee to 95 percent on the phone. We can choose a table on the spacious terrace, a handful of tables is occupied. We choose a two table on the back glass front of the guest room, have free views into the restaurant interior: lots of wood, partly leather-related armchair, tapas bar-flair. Guest room, photographed by the window front On the terrace there are predominantly two tables with bare wood plate on metal frame at small and larger distances, so that a larger group of persons can find space on two-sided tables. Only the dessert for my lover can wait longer. But at this time, almost all the tables are occupied, and the service dominations are primarily dragging main meals to the tables, which seems somehow understandable. A salad is served on both of our main dishes. The supplemental salad consists of various leaf salads, a few paprika strips, a cucumber disc, a minitomate and carrot shells, a plentiful portion – so plentiful that we cannot accommodate the small amount of well-tasting dressing due to the small bowl. But such a chocolate with liquid core... so the order for a • Pastel de chocolate (hot chocolate cake with walnut and cream cap, €5.90 goes out. My Dorade wants to swim, so I order a • line Aquavit (2,90 € . Esperando el pastel, and the time passes, the service forces drag court around court from the kitchen, the terrace is now well occupied. It takes a whole while not adapted for cakes and digestif until the sweet temptation and the perseverance are on our table. Pastel de chocolate But waiting was worth it. The chocolate cake tops the expectations of my loved ones: warm, fluffy, with delicate melted core, complemented by the ice cream with thick walnut pieces and the not so sweet cream. Perfecto! Aquavit Contrary to the often usual type of serving in the iced glass, the Aquavit is cooled under room temperature, but not served in the deeply tempered Aquavit glass. So my Dorade gets more of the aroma. We let our young jovial man know that dessert was very, yes very tasty. In general: With the performance of the kitchen we are more than satisfied, four stars. The cleanliness tables, cutlery and dishes are clean and the terrace is well maintained. We weren't in the guest room and not in the toilets. We also do not know whether the menage – wooden pepper and salt mill – which we have requested in retrospect, has been treated according to the current hygiene rules. Therefore, the assessment of cleanliness remains open. The price-performance ratio service and kitchen performance are quite okay except for small items. There is nothing to complain about at the prices. They are partly below local level. On the one hand, it is surprising to read gastronomics, which reach a great deal after the third Corona wave. The short full score therefore seems appropriate to us in terms of price-performance ratio, four and a half stars. We liked the evening in Bonneria.
