"I know the restaurant already for decades and visited every now and than.My last visit was on Friday 18November 2016. i had the octopus salad, which was great and a healthy portion. The "grillteller" as main course was rather huge, meat was not nicely grilled, the standard rice which comes with the dish was watery and not tasty.The special sauce that they serve which had lots of fresh onions and is quite spicy tasted great unfortunately all the meat was dry.The service was good."

"Wir wollten eigentlich im Da Vito speisen, bekamen dort jedoch keinen freien Tisch mehr und uns wurde dieses Lokal empfohlen (da der Inhaber der Bruder ist und ähnliche Gerichte anbietet). Bei dem Lokal handelt es sich um ein Bistrorante - ich interpretiere das mal als gehobenen Imbiss. Das Ambiente gefiel uns. Es waren lediglich die Tische etwas klein und eng beieinander gestellt, sodass man das Gefühl hatte, dem Nachbarn auf dem Schoß zu sitzen. Die Bedienung war gut gelaunt, freundlich und locker drauf - gefiel uns. Auch der Chef war da und hat fleißig mit gewerkelt. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker, die Preise waren gleich denen im normalen Restaurant. Wir waren zufrieden, würden wieder dort essen und bedanken uns für den netten Abend."

"It is really incredible that a small town like Achim has three Italian restaurants, which have now received good to very good reviews from me. In Hamburg Harburg, my last residence, I did not find a single Italian restaurant offering good Italian regional cuisine. Hamburg Hamburg is so big, I don't want to make a judgment. The Da Vito has always been recommended to us from different sides, Germans and Italians. What we did not hear: “The best pizza”, “ground food”, “tolle atmosphere”, “we’re going there at least 2 times a month”, etc pp. We had already tried, unfortunately, on a Monday, but there is rest day. Today it finally worked. We had pleasure in Italian and it was Sunday. I'm glad I called again to make sure that the place is open. “Do you want to book?” asked me a nice lady, “it’s just in alignment”. I just heard at this moment, Piiano Man’ by Billy Joel ... the crowd is shuffeling in ... and decided to follow this point. And that was good. The restaurant was nice about 19.30, although it is quite large. 3 interlocking interiors and a rear covered terrace. All interiors beautifully decorated and equipped with many handwritten panels for specials. Too bad you don't get the same information anywhere. Only when I inspected the “Garten” I learned that I could also have a special truffle dish that I very much appreciate. But be it as it was, we went to pizza anyway. As Amuse Geuele there were hot rolls with a slightly sharp herb oil dip, which was also added pressure to my sweetness; for that he smiled at the pizza, hihi. Unfortunately, the wine map is clear, but the open red from the barrel was good. Veltins as a beer was also no alternative to me. The pizzas of 8 euros each were really good, even if they could have been a bit more chessy in the middle. But that's a good thing. I had the “Da Vito” with garlic, artichokes, fresh tomatoes and parma ham, my sweetheart the “Alfredo” with everything: that was more “sei Stagioni”. The dishes on the neighboring tables also looked very tasty and were thoroughly cleaned up to the last rest. Small pointe on the edge of regional cuisine: I asked for Panzanella, an Italian bread salad, which I actually know mainly from northern Italy. “No,” I said, “we are from Calabria, the Panzanella comes from Apulia; At our home in Achim there are also, but here we make calabresian cuisine” One notices that the two regions directly adjoin each other and that certain dishes on the map certainly do not correspond to the calabrian standard. Another little point. “Why don’t you have a website?” sidiffi asked. “We don’t have time for this,” the nice waiter laughed. Too bad, they probably won't read my post here. The service is very nice and keeps an overview in the greatest chaos. Conclusion: The restaurant definitely sees me again, the 5th star is forgiven when the main dishes starters keep what they promise! After that we were again there and were not so convinced by the pastures. When I order Spaghetti Carbonara italiana (on the special card) and also with the waitress still clarify that it is with a lot of pepper but without the typical German cream and then it is drowned in cream and that is also more than 2 € on the standard card ... maybe the waitress has just prescribed herself. The fact is that my husband was eating his pizza and I got my pasta a lot later. This was okay, but not good. People, there are for 6 basic substances for a carbonara sauce: bacon (possibly Pancetta) gently glazed onions Egg or egg yolk (the spirits separate) grated Parmesan noodle water to bind the sauce lots of pepper Unfortunately, there's a point trigger. The Dependance Mangia è Bevi further down in the street is not safe even before a visit from me: The filled noodles sound too exciting to resist: A giant ravioli filled with figs and parma ham with green pepper and butter sauce, or a girasoli with marons and pears in butter sauce, you won't get it every day. Whether it's a la calabrese or not, I'm pretty wurscht."

"Wenn man am Wochenende dort Essen gehen möchte, ist es auf jeden Fall ratsam einen Tisch zu reservieren. Wie immer war es gestern sehr gut besucht. Das Essen war sehr lecker, auch der Service war fix. Es gibt verschiedene Tagesempfehlungen, die wirklich lecker sind. Ich hatte mir Spaghetti mit Avocado und Gambas ausgesucht und es war richtig gut. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, bis auf die Hintergrundmusik, die etwas anstrengend war. Darum auch nur 4. Das Bellini ist wirklich zu empfehlen."

"Ich habe mich erst jetzt dazu entschlossen eine Bewertung abzugeben. Weihnachten 2016. Mein Steak wurde von mir "Englisch" bestellt. Als ich den ersten Bissen nahm, mußte ich zu meinem Bedauern feststellen, dass das Steak lauwarm, fast kalt war. Auf meine Reklamation wurde das Fleisch nicht getauscht sondern aufgewärmt. Dabei versäumte man allerdings die Beilagen warm zu stellen. Mein Steak war danach zwar nicht viel "wärmer" , dafür waren die Beilagen jetzt auch kalt. Leider habe ich es versäumt, das Gericht komplett zurück gehen zu lassen. Ich wollte meiner über 80 jährigen Mutter keine Enttäuschung bereiten. Im nach hinein ein Fehler. Bei früheren Besuchen gab es nie etwas zu beanstanden. Allerdings ist es nicht zu verstehen, das nicht die "Chefin" sich am Ende erkundigte sonder Ihre Bedienung. Ich tippe mal auf die Tochter. Eigentlich schade, ich war immer gerne dort. Vielleicht wurden zuviele Reservierungen angenommem und alle waren überfordert. Auch noch etwas, bei meiner Reklamation wurde mir gesagt, das Steak würde auf einem heißen Stein zubereitet und es wäre schwierig das "Englisch" zu zubereiten. Hallo, wo war ich? In einem Steakhouse? Wenn ich das nicht zur Zufriedenheit des Gastes zubereiten kann, was läuft dann falsch? Wirklich schade!!!!"
