"In general, I found the chicken to be much better than the other meats. **Chinese Dishes:** - **Mapo Tofu:** This was a bit different than I expected, made with what seemed like agedashi tofu rather than the usual soft raw tofu. Although it was soft, the agedashi style was a fresh twist. It wasn’t bad. - **Beef in Black Bean Sauce:** Unfortunately, the beef quality was poor; it had a questionable smell and tasted like it might be spoiled. The meat was tough. I’ll have to see how I feel tomorrow, but if I do get sick, I’ll definitely blame the beef! I don’t know why I kept chewing; someone help me! - **Szechuan Chicken:** This wasn’t what I anticipated, but it turned out to be good. The chicken quality was great, while the sauce was just okay. - **Mongolian Stir-Fry:** The gentleman preparing the stir-fry did an excellent job! **Thai Dishes:** - **Chicken in Thai Curry:** This was disappointing and lacked flavor. If the chef had tasted it, he might have realized this. **Italian Dishes:** - **Arrabiata Pasta:** It was fine. Nothing special, but acceptable. - **Italian Grilled Chicken:** This was probably my favorite dish. They used real chicken, which seemed to be slow-cooked, making it soft and moist rather than dried out. **Indian Dishes:** - **Chicken Tikka:** The meat was dry and lacked flavor. - **Butter Chicken:** It was okay. The quality of the meat was good, but the sauce was just alright—neither horrible nor superb. **Dessert:** - The ice cream was good. **Service:** The service was hit or miss. It seemed the servers weren't assigned to specific tables, as different people came by to clear my plates. I tried to pay with an American credit card, which meant I couldn't leave a tip on the card. I started to walk out but felt guilty, so I went back in and left a £5 tip after realizing I had some cash. Honestly, the experience wasn’t outstanding, but the last waitress I encountered really made a difference!"

This buffet is remarkable compared to others. It offers an extensive selection of various Asian and other ethnic dishes, along with a large salad bar and a grill where you can create your own stir-fries, which is a nice feature. Dinner can get quite pricey, but if you visit between 5 and 7 PM, the cost is £12. Given the quality and variety of food, it's a worthwhile choice. I would definitely return.

I really appreciate having a variety of food options, and this restaurant certainly delivers on that front. I sampled a bit of everything—from curry to lasagna, pizza, chicken wings, and ribs. While the food isn’t exceptional, it’s acceptable if you're looking for a little bit of everything. I enjoy coming here, but not for the food quality; rather, I love the quantity and the delightful ice cream served with pancakes for dessert.

I recently visited the Solihull restaurant, and I found it to be quite impressive—far more so than this establishment. This place has the vibe of an office building mixed with a trendy bar, which doesn’t really add to the atmosphere. The food is just average, the service is similar, and the prices feel too high for what you get. If you’re looking for a good meal, there are many other options nearby that are far more appealing and worthwhile than this one.

Erm.... I'm not entirely sure what all the fuss is about with this place. The building seems to be the wrong way around, the windows all face the back of another building (yawn) whilst on the windowless side would be the canal views : There is plenty to choose from and something for everyone however the food is below average, the bread and pizza slice were like cardboard, on the other hand the chicken tikka was delightful. I won't be rushing back but I wouldn't say no if it was suggested. View menu

This is the perfect spot if you're dining with a group that has varied tastes, as they offer a wide range of options to satisfy everyone. While the food may not be as high-quality as you'd find in a dedicated restaurant, it does the job. There are times when the dishes can be bland or overly salty, likely due to the large batches they prepare, which can lead to some items being overcooked. However, I particularly enjoy their starters and curries. Overall, it’s a great place for groups, and the service is commendable.

My first time here this evening and it was a decent visit although I won't be rushing back. The place is a collection of different cookery theatre style buffets from around the world including Indian and Chinese, British, Mexican and a salad bar. There is even a dedicated dessert station. The friend I visited with said they've had a bit of a refurb and change around. Which has improved the place dramatically by all accounts. The staff seemed speedy, friendly and eager to help. Top marks for service but the quality of the food lets the place down a bit.

Visited here for the second time and again this was ok nothing great but nothing dreadful just average. This is a theatre style buffet from around the world including Indian Chinese Italian British Thai Mexican and tepanyaki. It does have a dessert station with little choose. The food is low cost and lukewarm the drinks are good the servers are great a clearing the tables but they do not seem very happy/friendly. They do add a 10% service charge on the bill but both times I have asked them to remove it as I feel it was not earned and did not tip. I don't feel it is worth £12.99 you could get a better meal elsewhere on broad st. View menu

I know buffet food is the most glamorous lunches or dinners to have but you can't deny how popular Jimmy Spices is with Birmingham. The restaurant has recently expanded there seating area and can now host several large parties at once. When I went on a Saturday night there were 4 hen parties and plenty of other large groups. What Jimmy Spices offers that I've notices other buffet restaurants don't is more fish dishes. Often when you go to Indian restaurants or have takeaway is predominantly meat dishes, this is a shame as fish pakoras and masala fish are really good dishes that often get overlooked. When I went this Sunday there had roast salmon as one of there carvery options and it was del...

I found this restaurant to be overpriced considering the quality of the food they offer. I tried some Chinese dishes, including sweet and sour chicken and stir-fried vegetables, and was disappointed. The prawn crackers were decent, but the Indian food seemed to be a bit better. However, the poppadoms were a little stale, and the chicken in the tikka masala had some pieces of gristle that I found unpleasant. I really dislike chewing on gristle. I then opted for some steamed basmati rice with biryani gravy and a naan, which was more enjoyable, so I had a bit more to fill me up. For dessert, I had an ice cream cone, and I enjoyed the experience of making my own cone, which turned out quite well...
