Nice and cozy place with a nice view in the center of Ulm

Very good food and beautiful location . Steaks were great , wings were very nice and side dishes are very good .

stopped here on a walk around ulm food and beer big and cheap. beautiful place to do a bit of people looking at the old town square next to the stunning rat house

If you like Meat this is a nice place to visit and try some. Pork and cow meat are the specialities in this restaurant, but they also serve Salads and other things too.

in john benton restaurant they really know how to prepare the excellent bark steak. wobbly soup is good, but desserts are worth coming back there, so the professional staff.

this place hoped. I ordered the ribs with a side of mushrooms and vegetables and it was excellent. if they tend to rip, this is the place to go. great atmosphere and service.

When I am in Ulm I am always pleased to have dinner here. Beer is excellent but their strongest option is meat. I have tasted the John Benton meat: it’s a huge dish with soft meat (with a lot of cream and sauces for me too much and vegetables. I have also tasted some vegetables (beans potatoes salad... and they are good too. Strongly recommend

our waiter was really formed and helped us to select the meal of the day. great service of pleasant staff, were quickly sitting. really good eating, that still tastes not very expensive. the food was properly presented and I must say that I enjoyed the atmosphere. really like the atmosphere here and the meals are always very well prepared and delicious.

After a successful wander around all the old parts of this lovely town, I emerged from the Fishermen's Quarter and stumbled on the John Benton restaurant. They have a good number of chairs and tables outside with a view over to the old Town Hall (Rathaus). I settled into a bistro chair outside and ordered a large glass of the local Gold Ochsen lager type beer Ulm's self proclaimed liquid gold. I then decided to take my time and embark on some serious people watching. Even though most other customers were eating I wasn't put under any pressure to order food, nor to move on. What a nice way to spend a relaxing afternoon when on vacation.
