"Finally, it made it here for a quick bite of tapas late on a bank holiday Monday. had been in the sun all day, so we needed something very relaxed with minimal fuss, so this was ideal. to the happiness it was not so busy so that only a short time had to wait for a few chairs with a glass house red in the hand. once we haven't sat ready yet, as we wanted everything on the menu. we were more hungry than we originally expected. I ordered some padronenpfeffer and pan con tomate to keep starving in the bay. they arrived immediately and it was a battle to eat the paprika before they cooled down and the broth before the refreshing cool tomatentoppen warmed. we followed this with some croquettes and iberican pork that were amazing. miso satisfied."

Great tapas accompanied with excellent wines. Always busy and vibrant. I really like it but I sometimes wished there was more place to sit. It would definitely make me stay longer.

This is my all-time favorite spot for tapas and wine! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting London!

I am never disappointed by this tapas restaurant. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful. The complimentary water is a rare bonus that is typically only found at top-tier restaurants around the world.

José is a tiny little tapas joint/sherry bar on the excellent Bermondsey Street. If you can resist the temptations of both Maltby and Borough Market and manage to get one of the few spaces to eat here, then you'll taste Spanish food that is as good as anything in London.

Really good tapas place on a cool street down in Bermondsey don't go expecting intimacy as is quite a small bar vibe but the food is delicious with good variety; exact menu is dependent on what's at the market. Expect to spend about £25 if eating what you want with a glass of wine.

Nice tapas with good selection of Spanish wines! The place gets pretty crowded and as it hasn't got that much space, it can be quite noisy.. But hey it's a bar so don't expect to stay there for too long as there's normally a queue. My favourite dish is the croquet which was very creamy...

For the Spaniards who live in London this restaurant is great to cover and remove the monkey from a beer with a stumble cover you will find tortilla, serrano ham, croquettes, rations are a little small, but they are very expensive that the place is bustling and breathes joy, has tables to sit down, but not many, which is difficult to find a place to sit down.

great food, great service and great atmosphere. jose' is a busy little tapas square in bermondsey that makes them forget that they are actually in Britain. I loved the cecina de leon. here it is served with a small granatapfel on the top, a combination I had not seen before and now wished would be used more often! there are some interesting dishes on the menu like cablings with red cabbage, which a large mix of textures and aromas, along with all the classic Spanish tapas they know and love, from jamon serrano to croquetas etc. highly recommended!

I may have a reputation for enjoying fine dining, but that doesn't mean I shy away from exploring other culinary experiences. My friends convinced me to try Jose in Bermondsey, and I'm glad they did. Despite the unassuming entrance under the railway tracks, the food at Jose was anything but ordinary. It felt like we were in a hidden gem, indulging in delicious dishes that would make any pork lover's taste buds sing. Even though the setting may have seemed run-down, the flavors at Jose were anything but. Cheers to trying new places and experiencing amazing food.
