"Had to wait a shot while for a table, but on busy Christmas market evening it wasn't too long. We ended upstairs with good people watching views.Food was excellent with huge portions. I had the Gnocchi and couldn't finish it. Husband had the black prawns which he really liked. Good beers. Good service.Be aware the credit card machine doesn't like none local cards, anything with raised lettering apparently!"

We had great food and fast service. Looked like a small place but is big and very nice. Pizza, pasta and steak very good.

Good and fairly priced in historic centre of downtown Aachen. The first major German city to be liberated in WW2. Good food. Friendly service. Outside terrace. Prices moderate. Recommended.

We had dinner and ordered 2 different salads and a pizza. Each dish was very average. Pizza crust was too thick and hard. Goat cheese salad ... the cheese is supposed to be warm - it was not. Good location in the center of Aahen. But will not be dining again.

I came here on our way from Rotterdam to Düsseldorf and stopped in Aachen. This restaurant has a good selection of beer and excellent and generous dishes. If you like fresh food, try the dishes on their special menu. Prices are reasonable as well. Location is excellent. Highly recommend it.

During our short visit to Aachen we just wanted to eat something very small, as we made reservation for a dinner already 4 or 5 hour later. Therefore we had chosen for two different soups and a bottle of still water. The price of the soups is oké (€ 4,40 and € 4,50). However, the water 0,75 liter costed us € 6,40. Yes, you read it correct, € 6,40.

The large chicken salad was very good, and they also server a whole load of bread with the salad for whatever reason (when you are really hungry, I guess). Service was quick and efficient. As I sat immediately after walking, I actually missed a huge part of the restaurant (a kind on balcony, I later discovered) and the interior left much to desire as well, in my opinion.

We visited on Christmas Day, when most other restaurants were closed. It was busy, as other people had the same idea. Inspite of this they made an effort to push some tables together for us and were very accommodating with the children. The food is tasty, I had Italian, which was lovely and the helpings are huge. In summer you can sit outside and let life file past. Thoroughly recommended.
