"the room is beautiful and creatively furnished, however our experience was not at all positive. from the beginning, despite the reservation and our arrival in perfect time they made us wait outside more than half an hour and judging by the number of people waiting for us together seems to be a common problem. as if it wasn't enough, attached to the entrance door was the fan of the kitchen that emanated strong smells and that made us the wait even more pleasant (in ironic sense). once housed in the restaurant, nobody considered us for almost an hour! No water, no menu, nothing. a group of 5 people completely ignored for almost 60 minutes. Meanwhile, the same treatment was also reserved for other customers (including a person I know) who did not have our patience and went stunned to wait (I saw 2 tables from 4 people get up and leave). pizzas were not bad while the wine was not very good, and that's why we left everything. in short, leaving the quality of pizzas that were good and poor wine, it may be that our bad experience is due to the particularly busy evening or to an unfortunate case, however reading previous reviews, many other customers have complained similar shortcomings in the service that in my opinion for such a large and ambitious restaurant should be the absolute priority."

evening spent with friends in a large restaurant inside a garden. smooth lights and candles have created the right atmosphere to appreciate a really special and very good menu.

romantic and quiet restaurant. music in the background makes dinner pleasant. fish dishes simply perfect with special goits and sometimes spicy notes. during the meal, the homemade bread is served with a leave of more than 14 hours. absolutely recommended!

experience to do. the table is set in an extrose manner. everything we ate was perfect. anchovies, cous cous and spaghetti, totani fried, mixed lattughe and baked cheese. All very good. sin not having taken wine, but a bottle would have been too much. to return

to avoid: the number dedicated to reservations never answers anyone and if you pass you are treated with arrogance. the present staff does not know the availability of the tables and sends back to the number to which no one responds. Obviously they do not need customers!

you enter a small alley of the old town and never imagine you'll find yourself in front of such a charming place, decorated with goto and illuminated a day by lucine and lanterns, really delicious. next to there is the house of happy cats that placidly peel you in the tables.. adorable... I ate really well, dishes cured with selected raw materials, highly recommended, thank you Sacha, I was really good.

"The larger the expectations, the greater the disappointment when these are disrespectful. we find this famous restaurant inside the guide of the solitary planet and from the first day on the island, seen the local celebrity (also referred to by the owner of our holiday home), we decide that we had to go to dinner. we phone the same evening that we set foot to lipari and the first available date is after 5 days, or almost in conjunction with the end of our holiday. we decide to fix this date and organize which dinner would be from the grand finale of our liparota stay. setting our expectations even more on the spot. we arrived the great day, we present ourselves in perfect time and we are immediately greeted in this place that somehow reminds the great reception halls of the 80s where we went to children for weddings. However, for a restaurant like this, you can also enjoy the atmosphere a little vintage. We'll sit down right after that, let's skip the adult age of almost all the staff in the room. what we appreciate and interpret as a sign of professionalism and experience, impression that then will prove truthful throughout the dinner. to welcome us, approach our table an old and kind gentleman who will turn out as the owner of the place, that we appreciate very much and that makes us feel immediately in good hands. the gentleman, immediately try to advise us by guiding us in the choice of dishes. Now, given the richness of the fish tank of the day we were almost all oriented to choose a second of fish, but behind the advice of the owner we decide instead to start with a mixed fish appetizer and a first. this choice was also guided by the fact that the paper menu is sometimes difficult to understand, given the multitude of dishes present that can make confusing those who have no clear ideas about what to take. It is in fact that after the ordination wine and appetizers arrive in a baton and we begin our dinner. the mixed appetizer is very good and rich in delicious combinations that include: fish, fruit and local cheese. everything leaves us very satisfied and lets us take the first good and inviting. Unfortunately, however, it was not so, since all the first dishes chosen had a disappointing one, the pasta seemed to be too much to the tooth (as testified by many other reviews) and the dress was too heavy for Filipino macaroni and too brodoso for the fettuccine of the island. Perhaps we would not understand their kitchen until the end, but the impression was that maybe it was better to take a second, than at the same price would leave us more satisfied. also because we are talking about 19€ for a dish of pasta, price that apparently seemed more tied to the prestige of the place than to the quality of the dishes. in short, we were a little disappointed overall, since we tried other restaurants far more at hand and we were really excited while here could go better. This does not take away that from the Filipino remains in my opinion a fundamental stage for a visit to Lipari, perhaps opting for a second."
