Welcome to the Christmas market. we had luck finding three stools to rest our tired feet. the chocolate breweries and latte macchiatos were lovely. friendly service. recommended.

Very nice restaurant. Super and extremely friendly service. Flexible wishes for the supplements are possible at any time! In any case, Opa Kaufmann's body dish is to be recommended, which should cover food requirements for the whole week.

I had dinner with a colleague and I was very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is great and very characteristic. The service efficient and polite. The food excellent with a nice touch of italian in a typically german menu. Would definitely reccomend !

It's always a pleasure to eat here. You can expect a consistent quality of food, more than reasonable prices for what is being offered and very friendly staff! As others already mentioned, make sure to make a reservation in advance, especially if you plan to...go on a weekend.

This restaurant was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. It has a good combination of modern and traditional dishes with a twist at a reasonable price. The Kartoffelsuppe mit Würstchenchips (potatosoup with crispy sausage slices) e.g. was delicious and the service was quick...and friendly. Although we made a spontanous visit, it might be recommendable to make a reservation at weekends.

Met with a handshake, looked after all night with real enthusiasm, food quality great and a nice mixture of German and Italian cuisine, (owners are from both countries) which tastes really good. Absolutely recommendable expect to be looked after well and you will need...to reserve a table. Only disappointment: that typical refusal to accept a credit card. It's cash or a direct debit card, sorry. So go there, and take cash.

because we had a business meeting that could only happen during dinner, we met in kaufmanns in gelnghausen. the good: this restaurant is open on Monday night! the restaurant is easy to find and offers nearby parking (the street itself. looks pretty busy). as we were for business, we ordered both fish and inserts. the supplements were a dish with salate and kartoffels. good, but nothing special. the place is a bit loud; however acceptable enough for a business talk.

the history of the restaurant had always fascinated me and led by a family since generations, which gave them their tradition -nots, but classic. the interiors of the restaurant will surely enchant them.origin and unusual, and so will eat. some vegetarian dishes have been adapted for...ours and they just tasted great. even if they have run a busy restaurant they usually have, the employees visited us with the greatest geduld and amity. speaks volume of their expertise and experience in the business.
