"During our stay in Hammersmith, Kerbisher and Malt was a must-visit for us due to its high ratings on Zomato and reputation for serving delicious and honest food. Located close to the Hammersmith tube station, the restaurant opens at noon so we had to return later to dine. The well-lit space had natural light coming in through large glass panels. We tried the fish buttie which turned out to be a British version of a sandwich with butter and crispy fish. The sausage buttie was also tasty with diced sausages. The calamari was well done, different from our past experiences in Goa. The baked beans and chips were enjoyable, with fresh, non-frozen chips being a standout. The pickled onion rings had a tangy twist. Overall, it was a good meal but nothing extraordinary. We look forward to trying their cod chips on our next visit."

I am so glad we tried this Yelp recommendationLet me warn you that the portions are very, very big - we ended up over-ordering.

The restaurant is conveniently located next to BrewDog, which is a great spot for drinks. I would suggest checking out BrewDog first before dining at the restaurant. View menu

The food is delicious, but the staff can be a bit impersonal. The portion sizes for the chips are too large and they don't seem to get much attention compared to the other dishes.

This restaurant is a gorgeous setting to enjoy delicious food. The fish was especially tasty, and the calamari was also very good. Be sure to sample their house ale, as it is truly exceptional!

Worth a trip across London? Possibly not, unless you’re a major fish-and-chips fan — this is a fantastic local restaurant, not destination dining. Worth going every week if you live nearby and like eating great food for under a tenner? As if you have to ask. View menu

comfy chippy! the search for some comfort eating led us to this beautiful fish and chips place kerbisher paints. they even have their own Pale-Ale the same name. the fish was perfectly cooked. the resistance of the erbsenmaic was right. the parts were large for london standards. felt as if we were back in the small towns to the north, where the service is cheerful and cumsy, portioning warm and gigantic. I loved this place.

This restaurant is clean and serves delicious chips and sauces. I decided to come here based on Lonely Planet's recommendation for budget eats. I ordered the battered cod with chips and it was very satisfying, especially since I hadn't eaten lunch. I also tried the fishcake, which was decent but a bit too thick for my preference. I noticed that the kitchen and serving staff were all speaking Russian, which was interesting. The mayo and tartare sauce paired perfectly with the chips, making the overall experience enjoyable.
