"One star is one too many. The fish was bland; no flavour at all and the batter was soggy. The chips were disgusting not proper chip shop chips at all!! There were like cheap dry chips you'd expect to get in a horrible pub. It was so horrible that after a few mouthfuls we stopped eating it Oh and don't get me started on the price!! £17 for two cod and one chips. All of which were thrown away as they were so disgusting. I would have no problem paying that if the food was as amazing as it claims to be. But to pay that for cheap mass produced food is just an insult. They post all their reviews on the menu although I'm Not really sure how there are so many fantastic reviews. Do not waste your money for such disappointing food. Stick to your well trusted chippie :"

The location is great-right near BrewDogAlthough they do have drinks there, I'd recommend BrewDog first.

Everything was perfect, from the style of this place, nice staff, to this huuge and delicious portion of fish and chips.

Good stuffStaff are a bit impersonal, but food is greatChip portions are too big and the chip doesn't really get a lot of love.

This restaurant doesn't live up to the hype. Ordered battered haddock which was average. The chips were dry and hard, definitely not what I was expecting! View menu

I am not a big fan of fish chips but this is my favourite in Ealing. Quality fish fillets (reasonable size) and double-fried chips are cooked fleshly to order. I also like their home-made tartar souce. Nicely decorated. It is more expensive than other local chippies but worth it

I went here with my partner for dinner on a Friday night and am pleased to say the service was excellent- much better than the last time I visited. The waiter was friendly and attentive- service was efficient- but not rushed. The fish and chips were of good quality and as always- with the fish as fresh as a daisy and the chips soft and fluffy.

Good simple fish and chip but with considerable modernisation and refinement.Battered, grilled or even a Kosher version (in Matzo meal) versions available.Haddock in the first two versions very good. Whitebait side order was excellent, as was the home made tartar sauce and superb mushy peas. Good range and quality of beverages. Chips are filling and NOT greasy.Very pleasant and efficient service in a modern, open environment.. All in all, a simple, stress fee and satisfying experience. View menu

I visited this restaurant last Sunday evening and was disappointed to find that the takeout price of £9.20 was the same as eating in for their fish and chips meal. When the meal was served, it consisted of just a single small piece of fish on the plate and a small bowl of overcooked, tasteless chips. The portion size was on the small side, with a few large chips on top and the rest being small and hard. The service was also lacking, as I was not even offered a menu despite the restaurant being mostly empty. I would not recommend this restaurant and would not return, even if the meal was free.

We are not local to ealing but do know the area fairly well and we came across this chip shop which stated they do 'takeaway '. We thought we would give it a go but wish we didn 't. We ordered one sausage and one portion of chips. The restaurant side was very quiet so we thought it would be very quick. It took over 25 minutes to get our takeaway! The food quality for poor for the price and the staff clueless. Deliveroo kept coming in and out collecting orders and kept constantly putting those orders in front of ours. Never again and I strongly advise you look elsewhere if you want chips in Ealing. If I could give it zero, I would.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
