"We stopped in while waiting for the number 8 bus and ordered two chicken strip meals and one chicken nugget meal. It took almost 10 minutes to receive our food, and when we did, the chicken strips were on plates even though we had requested takeout. After some confusion, we were given our meals in boxes and left. Unfortunately, our food was cold, but the chicken nugget meal was satisfactory according to my daughter. We returned our cold meal and received a refund, with the explanation that the staff member was working alone."

"Ordered sandwiches, cakes and coffee for lunch via Deliveroo. Firstly, the sandwiches were delicious and so was the coffee and if I would just have ordered that The Knobbly Cob would have scored a resounding 5 out of 5. But we ordered cakes which didn't arrive. We paid for the cakes which were part of an order costing just over £21. 96p of thar bill was a service charge. This is adding insult to injury frankly. Being charged for items and service not received with no explanation, apology or recompense would definitely make me hesitate to order from The Knobbly Cob again."

"We always enjoy having lunch at this restaurant. We come all the way from Nottingham because of the great service and delicious food. We wish there was a similar place in Nottingham as most places there don't open for lunch. The naan breads are excellent, as are the rice and curries. The chicken tikka and majestic dishes are also very good. The staff is welcoming and the manager is great, so we will definitely be returning."

"We celebrated a birthday dinner here last night with a group of seven. The place was bustling, but despite the crowd, the service was excellent, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was outstanding. Although we don't live nearby, we will definitely return! It was undoubtedly one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The Longford lamb was particularly exceptional—huge portions that were tender and perfectly pink, practically falling off the bone! The menu provided so many options that it took us a while to decide what to order, and we look forward to coming back to try more dishes. The prices were quite reasonable as well!"
