"We celebrated a colleague's birthday by dining at the Kings Head and were not disappointed. My Rib Eye Steak was cooked perfectly, and I also ordered mushrooms and garlic bread. The portions were generous, with enough to share. My colleague had the chicken curry, which came with a large portion of rice and a separate bowl of chips. The menu offers a variety of options, and there are weekly specials listed on a blackboard. The atmosphere of the bar and restaurant is charming, reminiscent of an old Coaching Inn. It is a relaxing place with a great selection of drinks. The Kings Head is located in the historic town of Usk, with accommodation available for those who want to stay. The staff were polite and helpful. I would definitely return to the Kings Head, as it offers quality that is hard to find these days."

We have had 4 fantastic meals there. Make sure your Hungary first as portions generous. You can't beat a roaring log fire. And in summer food as good outside. Staff great and place spotless.

We haven't been to the kings for some time so we thought it's date night why not. On arrival the put looked a little tired including a bench at the front that half the seat was made up of osb board. Obviously that half was damaged . The entrance had a bed strong smell of paint.. We were shown to our table that the table top was rocking back and forth where it was fixed we'll sort if fixed to the base. Misses had fish and hips I had chicken curry half n half. Misses said her fish was very watery and didn't taste of anything chips were v pail but the peas were v good
