"eleven days ago but vivid memories of excellent eating and service with friendly permission from chef, owner and friendly staff. home made soup as the first cursor (best suppe since a visit in france, before many monden;) main course special menu brought me halibut, that was tender enough to still taste the sea, with magnificent grooms; and a home made classic tiramisu for dessert, for which no worte lob can be sufficient. as my wife is eating lambs, we had a dilemma again about the wee, the facility was extremely helpful. chef even came out to chat with us, and his absolute passion for the magic of the kitchen was clear. we felt wonderfully well looked around, and the price was very valuable. many thanks to all that they give us an unforgettable meal on the last day of our short holiday."

If you haven't eaten here recently then get a sprint on because spontaneous last minute bookings may soon not be possible... The Raglan Arms is fast becoming THE place to eat in Monmouthshire and deservedly so.

Second visit here in a week. Fabulous food, with friendly, welcoming hosts. Certainly the best we've tasted in Monmouthshire. If we were local to the area we'd be regular customers. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

beautiful people, fantastic service, perfect eating. when they visit, then yes the steak is amazing, but I would also recommend the lamb absolutely beautiful, and eat the best seasonal comfort. I would definitely find this place again if in the opposite.

so a beautiful pub, we come every day and this year we brought our little baby. delicious food and friendly staff. my only reservation is that it can be quite expensive, how and when the kitchen changes hands. a summer we came and everything (six points) on the menu was over £16 hopefully it continues to be a good value for money.
