"eleven days ago but vivid memories of excellent eating and service with friendly permission from chef, owner and friendly staff. home made soup as first cure (best suppe since a visit in frankreich, before many monden); hauptkurs special menu brought me halibut, which was tender enough to still taste the sea, with magnificent guides; and a house made classic tiramisu for dessert, for which no cake of the lobe can suffice. as my wife is eating lambs, we had a dilemma again about the wee, the facility was extremely helpful. chef even came out to chat with us, and his absolute passion for the magic of the kitchen was clear. we felt wonderfully well looked around, and the price was very valuable. many thanks to all that they give us an unforgettable meal on the last day of our short holiday."

I always like to visit the Raglan Arms in the winter because they have a huge open fire which is lovely to sit by with a glass of red wine. The menu is not View menu

Came for a mid-week birthday lunch having not been for quite a while due to lockdown etc. Only a few people in mid week so not a lot of atmosphere. Food and service Ok but had expected it to be really special from coming previously so felt a bit let down

The Raglan Arms certainly lived up to all the positive reviews I had read. There was a good and varied choice of food, which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The staff were efficient and helpful and the dining area was spacious and relaxing. I would highly recommend.

This place seems to get better and better. Hadn’t been for a while and was so pleasantly surprised. Very good value- very fairly priced wine list. Portions huge which was only draw back as i don’t like leaving food! Everything we had was lovely but fish pie must have a special mention View menu

We had an absolutely lovely meal here! After finishing a walk at Sugar Loaf we came for a Sunday lunch. This place is very dog friendly and we enjoyed a Sunday roast dinner. Often we find a roast is better cooked at home, however this one exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend and will be back. The service was also wonderful and we couldn’t have had a lovelier meal!

We dined at the restaurant as it was rated one of the ‘Pick of the Pubs’ in our AA ‘The Pub Guide’ and as always seems to be the case deservedly so, it was quiet as it was a Wednesday evening but there were still enough diners to create a nice atmosphere, the food and service was excellent, very good and varied menu and good value given the quality, my wife and I couldn’t fault a single part of our meals they even had a dessert that combined Crème Brûlée and Stollen two of my wife’s favourites which was a real bonus. We will definitely return to this restaurant when we’re in the area again.
