"Only found out this morning that this place existed will definitely be visiting again! The staff were all lovely the lunch we had (toasties followed by slices of cake) were really tasty. The menu has a wide range to choose from including cooked Breakfasts, Jacket Potatoes also afternoon tea. There is even an afternoon tea for children to have which is a nice touch. Nothing seemed too much trouble I can't recommend highly enough!!!"

I eat here at least once per week, and have never been dissappointed. How many places can you go where everything is made in house?Good value, great quality!

Mother's day cream tea £15 each WOW well worth it. The sandwiches and homemade cakes were moreish and delicious. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely visit again.

Ha afternoon tea here with my wife there is limited space so we were seated outside. Afternoon tea was not on the menu they gave us so we had to ask for it. The food itself was tasty and arrived fairly quickly.

Staff are usually very nice and helpful and value for money is quite good but it's not my place of choice it lacks ambience and I suspect the problem is that it's not busy enough....shame. Although it is behind a knitting shop which adds interest!

Googled this tea room as wanted to support somewhere locally rather than stopping on the motorway. Only wanted a cuppa, but the cakes we saw going to other tables looked good. The wool shop at the front of the cafe also looked interesting but we didn't have time to linger. Will visit again if in the area.

Have visited Kitty's again today, for lunch this time, I was with Grand daughters and great grand daughters, had a lovely light lunch then a huge piece of cheesecake, I think the best I have ever eaten!! Was very pleased to see they will cater for allergies as G grand daughter has a dairy allergy, so all were happy today.

Went for late lunch with my daughter in law and grandson. As previously mentioned parking is difficult and we ended up quite a way away. Nice little tea room and friendly staff. The sandwiches and tea were lovely but the majority of the cheesecakes weren't available which was rather disappointing as that's the main reason we went. This is not the first visit nor the first time this has happened sadly

We came here on Trip Advisor recommendations and weren 't disappointed. An 'Aladdin 's cave ' lies behind the deceptively small shop front. Great cheesecakes (we had the Double Decker and Oreo varieties). Very pretty decor. Bunting and matching china. Friendly staff. Plus, the bonus of the wool shop attached, which we weren 't expecting. We had a great time. Soya, almond milk available, so very happy.

"Visited today for lunch and probably wouldn't rush back although I'm aware there's recently been a change in management so maybe a few teething troubles. Messaged via their Facebook page to book a table, no response. Never was a problem in the past. The pub was very cold with no heating at all so we had to keep our coats on. Several tables near us commented the same and all sat with coats on. The coffee machine was out of order so only instant available, which wasn't pleasant. We waited a long time for someone to come and take our food order, in the end I went and found someone. Two of us wanted the steak ale pie. Only then were we told it wasn't available. The chap said we should've been told when we were given the menus, well it was him that gave them to us! With that he said he'd give us a few minutes to choose something else and walked away. He didn't come back so I had to go and ask to place our order again. At no point did anyone ask if we had any food allergies, which I thought was a requirement these days? The food was really good, credit to the chef; it was well cooked, well presented, large portions and very tasty. We did notice that two other tables waited a very long time for their food and had to chase it up, so glad we ordered when we did. We would have stayed longer and had a dessert but it was so cold we couldn't relax and enjoy it. We were next to radiator and we did ask one of the waiters if it was possible to turn it on and he said he'd see what he could do, which was nothing as it remained stone cold! When our plates were taken we asked for the bill, but it didn't arrive. Eventually a young lady arrived with the card machine and asked us to pay, which we said we'd be delighted to do once we received our bill! When we left we walked past 3 different members of staff, all of whom had waited on our table at some point during our visit. Not one of them made an effort to say thank you or goodbye. There was no warm ambiance or friendly feeling in the pub, it felt cold (literally) and unwelcoming. I also felt that a couple of members of staff waiting on tables looked rather scruffy, none of them wore a logo'd t-shirt which I feel the staff should do as they're representing the pub or brewery. It was difficult to distinguish the staff from the customers!"
