"Location Parking The idyllic monastery town is located on the B35 exactly between Stuttgart and Karlsruhe. The Klosterkatz restaurant is located in Germany's most beautiful monastery complex, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993 and makes many bridal couples the most beautiful day in their lives, a unique experience. The Klosterhof is accessible at any time, the parking facilities are limited to one hour from 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays. The legend about the muzzles is that the monks of the monastery of Maulbronn wanted to hide the flesh from the dear Lord God in the Lent, which led in the popular mouth to the name of “Herrgottsbscheserle”. We want to marvel at the monastery for a little longer and take place in the Klosterhof, shaded under trees and parasols. Here you can use a dining and beverage carriage with sensational modern equipment. Beautiful atmosphere, with Swabian cosiness invite you to stay. Service The service is friendly without being intrusive. There are 3 dishes on the slate table. Maultasche in Brühe (7,20 € , Weißwurst mit Brezen (5,50 € and a homemade sausage salad (6,20 €). The two beautiful mouthbags filled with two different fillings swimming in a broth and taste very delicious. The sausage salad is finely cut, made of meat cheese and blood sausage strips in a vinegar oil marinade and is served in a wake-up glass. The marinade is true and has a good taste. The bread is a little too dry. There is no bill in the beer garden. It's only paid cash. Conclusion There is no more beautiful place than the Klosterhof of Maulbronn at noon, snorkelless, classic-schwäbisch, cozy to eat"

Cosy restaurant next to the Maulbronn Monastery. Warm kitchen is available from 11.30 – 14.00 and then from 18.00 in the evening. After visiting the monastery we were spontaneously here to warm up with coffee and cake. We were kindly served and everything tasted good. Service: Dine in Meal Type: Other foods: 4 Service: 5 atmosphere: 5.

Italian restaurant, very small and quite narrow. In the summer it is more relaxed on the Klosterhof outside. However, if you like it very tight and somewhat griefy, also top inside. The food was very delicious, the prices were not so cheap, but also not too expensive. There are also coffee and cakes. The espresso was very good. So a good restaurant. Please reserve seats in advance.

Inside a unique ambience. But also high prices and today long waiting times for food ... 1.5 hours. The onion roast for 28,50 was then rather a slightly tough steak and the onion essence a little very salty. The salad looked visually beautiful but was without any sauce and on the table stood only oil. Great was the four cheese pizza. The noodles that existed to the courts were all very bite and a bit hard so they did not take the sauces properly. Still a great experience
