"We arrived at the restaurant around 20:00 and were seated indoors immediately. It was our last night in the city and I had been pestering the wife (who eats meat) to come to some sort of vegan/vegetarian tasting menu style restaurant for a while now, she had agreed and I was really looking forward to it.We were given menus, which was a 3, 4 or 5 course tasting menu, we opted for the 5 courses with wine pairings at £70 each. The pre appetizer came, which was basically a spoon with what tasted like a dog treat and a bit of cranberry puree on it.... not appetizing or a good sign at all. ( I must add that this wasn't one of the 5 courses)The first course proper arrived briskly, it was a seaweed and cucumber flavoured panna cotta with small macaroons which looked great, however, the taste was that of fish eyes/guts, basically vile all in all. I take it this was their attempt to recreate the flavour of the sea, which it did brilliantly, just the wrong kind of sea taste. Awful. The wife left pretty much all of this course and I tried to get down as much as possible as to not offend, as I was still trying to be optimistic despite all the signs pointing the other way. The next course arrived, again in great time. This course was a carrot and mushroom soup with a small crouton on the side. This course was very nice to be fair, however for the price (£70 a head) a small cup of soup should not be the highlight of the entire meal. it was a very basic soup that anyone could make at home, and make taste lovely. Again though, nothing you couldn't find at a hotel buffet for £7.99 a head.Onto the next (course..) this was a bit of lettuce and sour yoghurt in a jar with what I assume was grass sorbet? It was made to look like some sort of eco system in a jar and tasted like the finest efforts of a young child playing chef with what they could find in the garden. Again, awful stuff, which we both left after one taste.Onto the big main course which was mashed potato wrapped in a leaf along with some red wine jous and various dried herbs and other small bits to add to the fine dining experience. This course however was still at its heart just mashed potato dressed up. If this course had a bit of seitan or something similar to make it like a mock sunday lunch, then It may have impressed, but as I say, it was basically just mash with other bits to dress it up.Dessert was quite nice, but inventive it certainly wasn't. a slice of warm peach on top of what was basically a Farleys rusk with a few raspberries and a bit of ice cream to boot. The service was great and I cannot complain on that front as were the wines, but the food was just not up to scratch. I am baffled as to why a half decent chef couldn't have come up with something a bit tasty as apposed to the confused, simple and dreadful combination put out as 'fine dining'.Plenty of potential for this place and I'm sure they change the menu up quite regularly, however at the present it cannot demand the prices it is charging for the poor quality fayre they are peddling. Right from the first course I was apologising to my wife and this continued throughout the night and into the next day for subjecting her to this lacklustre fine dining experience."

Each course was delicious and creative. I especially enjoyed the "cheese" plate. Good gluten free options as well. Loved it!

Just love this place. Have been here several times, and have never been disappointed. Creative vegan fine dining with great presentation and flavors. Don't miss!

Enjoyed the vegan food here. Lots of imagination and flavour - and presented beautifully, Was impressed by the friendly and professional service too. Not all of the textures quite worked, but overall eating vegan was an enjoyable experience and at times close to haute cuisine. My main gripe though would be the cost. This is an expensive restaurant and ultimately not convinced that the food was worth the price tag, over 50 euros per head.

Visited here on the back of good reviews. First thing I noticed was the price...this place isn't cheap. €104 for 3 courses and a glass of wine (for 2). We opted for 2 courses and wine. The food was spot on. On the plate it looked small but it was very filling. Could not fault the food.Service was a little slow and the obsession with waiters explaining every dish to you in microdetail when it arrives, I'm guessing would be a little tedious with larger tables. I could it odd that an otherwise perfectly well dressed waiter would wear a pair of dirty training shoes! But would I go again.....definitely. View menu

I won't lie, I'm fairly sure this is the poshest restaurant I've ever been to. Don't take that as disparaging, it is a really lovely and friendly and welcoming place. I've never had the chef serve the meal and explain all the ingredients but it was really charming and delightful. The food (everything is 100% vegan) was absolutely mind-blowing, and while expensive, is worth every cent. Such a pungent mix of flavours, it was just delicious and rich. We were too full after a starter and main to even think about dessert.I do highly recommend this dining experience if you are looking for a very fine experience, whether you're vegan or not.

The food here was amazing. We went for brunch which was all vegan and included; scrambled eggs, brownies, egg mayo, cold cuts, cheese, desert pots, chilli, pancakes and so much more. The "eggs" were definitely the highlight for me. It is quite expensive (~€17 each) but worth it for the novelty of an all vegan buffet, although I think drinks should be included, or at least 1 drink free/water for the table or something. We got a fresh apple juice and fresh orange juice, and they were around €5 for 500ml- which is ridiculously expensive and the apple juice wasn't even nice. The servers also didn't explain anything to us, just showed us to our table, so we were a bit confused as to wether we jus...

I was in Berlin with my meat eating son and this was the one fully vegan restaurant we went to. I'm happy to spend 50 euros on a 3 course meal but as I was unsure if my son would enjoy the food we instead went for the 3 course set meal priced at 19 euros. The set meal is called 'Come Together' and is served communally to those who arrive between 6 and 6.15. I wasn't expecting this, but actually was quite nice to sit with others.Restaurant looks lovely, presentation is beautiful service was polite and efficient but I found the food not very good tbh. Its just a taster menu I had but they just seem to be trying too hard to produce interesting food and getting it a bit wrong. The starter tasted... View menu

I was very excited after reading a great article about this restaurant and took a meat-eating friend so that I could get two perspectives. As a vegan, I appreciate when chefs try to create new experiences and tastes rather than just trying to produce, for example, a vegan "Beer Wellington." Unfortunately, tonight's 5-course set menu (50 Euros) was neither exciting nor stimulating. There were no complex flavors that developed or changed with each bite. In fact, there was very little flavor. The main course of eggplant (aubergine) and sweet potato tasted of neither. It tasted "brown." On the other hand, the soup was completely inedible. It tasted like a beginner's attempt at a cream sauce, too...

My boyfriend and I are trying a vegetarian diet for a month so we decided to splash out on a reputable restaurant in a vegan friendly city. We arrived at 7pm and sat outside first as it was very warm inside. We ordered our drinks (a G&T and a white wine), the first one of which was great, but my white wine took over 25 minutes to arrive. Once we got really hungry we sat inside and ordered the 5-course menu and a bottle of red wine. I also informed the waitress that I was allergic to nuts. We then waited 40 minutes for the first course to come - a plate of tomatoes, a kind of salad that tasted lovely. But our wine had not arrived so we had to prompt the waitress as I personally enjoy wine as...
